Versatile bag with sturdy laptop compartment, good for the price
It should be noted that as at the time of this review, the model name and description on the page are out of date. The product you'll get is actually a Mountain Warehouse Quest 30 litre capacity bag, which is a new, improved version of the old Merlin model. (the only difference being the positioning of two of the zippers).The photographs in the product description are of the Quest model, and are accurate. Also, the laptop compartment is 17" (not 13" as described at the time of this review) and so accommodates a decent sized laptop.I bought this bag for my son as he needed something sturdy enough to transport his laptop to and from work on the train, roomy enough to accommodate full gym kit and trainers, and with a separate compartment for stationery.Having owned the previous Merlin model for some years, during which it has been stuffed to capacity for short breaks and trips, I was delighted to discover that this new Quest 30L model is of the same strength and quality as its predecessor. It also retains the fully padded laptop compartment which is completely separate from the main compartment, providing better protection, which is excellent.This strong, versatile bag is ideal for the daily commute, for college, day-trips, short holidays, gym sessions and more, and is great value for the price. If my old backpack is anything to go by, this bag is built to last.

Nice design but badly made
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 12yr old, it is a good size and just what he needed for school. Unfortunately however the material has perished within a couple of months which is not really very good.

Lots of space, perfect for school
My son needed a plain rucksack for school and this is ideal. Lots of space for all his stuff. Comfortable to wear. I think it’s old season so cheaper than buying the new version (basically identical, just renamed) in mountain Warehouse

Fantastic Backpack!
This backpack has lots of compartments and is very lightweight. I'm pleased with the size, quality and sturdiness of the product. Good value for money, would definitely recommend!
