Airpura R600 Air Purifier - White

I have an Airpura R600-I from 2011. I have been trying for 4 months to replace the hepafilter. I consulted with Allergy Buyer's.com and they sold me the wrong filter. I've been trying since then to find out what is the correct filter. They finally sent me a return label and gave up. So I called the Airpura company and spoke with a project manager who assured me all would be ok. Well it isn't. The next day I got an email from them saying to return the filter. I hadn't even ordered it from them. I finally spoke to the receptionist who tried to help but couldn't and then insisted that the manager would know...when he came in. Today I spent the better part of the day on the phone to find out that I needed a different kind of filter. So I've boxed up the first one to send back, only to find out that allergy buyers.com doesn't have the filter they say I need. And when I google it, with the item number that Airpura gave to me, it doesn't exist. I found one that looked similar, emailed the link to the company and the answer was, "not the right one". Seriously? Even the company doesn't know how to get their own filters it seems. I'd say this...good at it's job, but if you hold on to it for any amount of time, which you should for the price that you pay....you are looking at it becoming obsolete. Go find a more established company and do yourself a favor.

Does a good job. I am chemically sensitive and I really like this air purifier. It leaves the air just smelling really fresh, no odors at all. My husband uses fragrance free hairspray but it still bothers me, so I put this in the bathroom after he gets ready and very quickly the odor is gone. Why did I wait so long to buy this? I also really appreciate that the actual air purifier is made out of metal and doesn't smell. So many things you buy have a smell and are bothersome when you have multiple chemical sensitivity.
