cute teapot, recommended!
I think the welding could be improved (the pouring part was a little bit misaligned, and makes it hard to scrub off the residue, and some impossible), but it's sturdy, cute, and holds good amount for when guests come. I did not use it on heat directly, but only pouring boiling hot water. So far so good!

Worked for a while but broke
the pot itself is easy to clean but as for heat resistant.. Nah the glass like any pot heats up a lot on the handle and if you heat up to medium-high eventually the pot will crack which he directions do mention the spring attached to the pot will never be the same once you take it out to clean and the tea strainer jams up and sometimes doesn't fully close it you press too hard once it's an ok starter pop just to know what you want but as for a long term pot look somewhere else

amazing!
This teapot looks amazing on my gas stove and warms up water for tea in about 5-7 minutes on medium to low flame. I’m so obsessed with how chic and durable it is! The glass is very high quality and maintains a sparkly shine with warm dish soap and water after use - make sure the bottom is really dry before you place it on your stove and be careful with the handle.

I Just Ordered a Second One
I'm so happy with this pot that I've just ordered a second one. I drink iced tea year around, so, with a second pot, I can always have one hot and steeping and one chilling in the fridge to pour over ice.I've tried/used quite a few other "solutions," some of which worked moderately well, and some of which were total failures. This is the first one that's just perfect.

Perfect size tea kettle!
This tea kettle may look tiny when you take it out of the box but for one large cup of tea I usually only end up filling it up about a quarter of the way so it's honestly perfect for making tea for 1-2 people. I have been using filtered water as much as possible to avoid calcium buildup in the glass and that has helped keep it clear and clean! Honestly no need to regularly clean if you are taking the lid off and letting it dry completely on its own. I was tired of regular tea kettles rusting on the inside so this was a perfect alternative. Doesn't whistle but that doesn't bother me, you can hear and see it boil. Bought 1 for a friend and she loves it too!

All in all great tea pot
This teapot is fantastic. I like that it has this little removable filter so that leaves, ginger, etc., stay in the pot when pouring the tea. I mostly use it on the stove top; it is as heat resistant as described.Unfortunately, after only one month of use, the wood top broke and finally fell apart after four months. However, the seller was able to send a replacement lid; that's why I updated this review.
