I read some reviews before buying product that this would also work for tattoo cover up. It does not, black tattoos very obvious under tape.

I had surgery and have been using this on my scar, but I cannot yet tell if this is working. It is certainly worth trying!

My major issue/concern with this silicone scar tape is that it wasn't safety sealed. Thus, there is no security to protect the sterility of the product. So, no aspect of the product protects against tampering. While the argument can be made that the tape isn't to be used on open wounds, intended to reduce the appearance of scars, this aspect is still an issue for me. As such, it does ding the rating.The silicone tape does appear to be quality, medical grade silicone. The width is accurately stated (see attached photo of the tape with ruler for size reference).Due to the lack of proper sarety/hygienic sealing, this silicone scar tape rating falls to a 4 - 4.25 stars.

I like this silicone tape for healing my knee surgery scar. It makes the scar flatten and not so thick, and it is waterproof so that i can wear it in the shower. It does not show under my clothing and it fits smoothly over the scar.

This Fanhostco Medical Silicone Scar Tape feels great. I don't know if it works yet, or how long it takes. If it doesn't work I will be back to revise my review.The box includes a roll of tape. It is very thin and has a removable backing. The strips have a perforated section to make tearing it off easy.I will be recommending this Fanhostco Medical Silicone Scar Tape to family and friends.

The only disappointment is that the reuse time is not as long as others I've tried. But has definitely smoothed out my tummy tuck scar. Still using product
