Barbarian Alien: A SciFi Alien Romance (Ice Planet Barbarians Book 2)

Love love love…mostly
Raahosh is my fav fr he is babygirl, he is girly pop, he iS lana dep rey vinyl. I loved the lowkey enemies to lovers vibe between liz and him. The chemistry and the tension were 10/10. HoweveR, Liz really annoyed tf out of me pretty often in the beginning. Like i get he shouldn’t have kidnapped her but she was fr mad at this guy just for being her mate. Like girl it was either a mate or death bffr. Also her incessant use of slang towards this alien dude who is so clearly confused makes no sense. Like he doesn’t understand so maybe try a new tactic at communication? But no. She keeps on keeping on w slang and sarcasm like he gets it and when he doesn’t she gets frustrated like she ain’t the problem 💀Anywho she got better once she acknowledged how ignorant and unfair she was being to him. Again I don’t condone kidnapping and hostage type situations like this isn’t 365 DNI…but cmon he’s an alien. Different vibes completely.

Loving this series!
Barbarian Alien is book two of the Ice Planet Barbadians series of interconnected standalones. This series has me hooked! I never thought that I would be into alien romance, but I guess I am! I actually liked this book better than the first one. I loved that Liz is strong and independent and doesn’t want to depend on her giant blue barbarian to take care of her. She is sassy and isn’t afraid to tell Raahosh exactly what she feels and is thinking. Poor Raahosh just wants someone to love who loves him back. This book had me laughing out loud and also feeling all the emotions. And the spice was complete fire! I can’t wait to start book three!

Loved Liz’s Story
I like this series so far and I have to say this book was better than the first. If you aren’t sure if alien romance is your thing, try it, I don’t think you will be disappointed!

I think I liked this one better than the first!
Liz is a spoiled brat, but I love how her and her mate came together! I love alien books and this one has become a top favorite, for sure. I'm ready to read about Kira, but I'm nervous at the same time. How can does she get the device off?? Onto book 3!

I liked this one more
This was better then book 1 in my opinion. Vektal and georgie really made me mad with there "for the tribe" crap.

Yep, still love this one!
Raahosh is absolutely irresistible, no matter how many times I've read this series. Liz, however, makes you wish his khui had chosen differently...until you think about what life on Not-Hoth is actually like. How damaged he is (not just physically scarred) requires someone fierce to live him and their kits in this inhospitable, lonely world. If Liz was softer, gentler, more typically what's considered "ladylike", Raahosh would have been a corpse--either after his injury, OR once the rest of the tribe caught up with him.Maybe Liz is rough around the edges, but so is Raahosh--and they both have the ability to fiercely and completely love each other once their walls come down. He may have abducted her due to resonance, but she shocked him time and again by loving him in ways he had never experienced, ever--and resonance or not, he came to love her with every cell of his body. They were the home both of them needed but never imagined they'd ever find. Who better to build your HEA with than someone just as unlovable at first glance as you are?

This Series is ADDICTING!!
These are hilarious & surprisingly precious and adorable!L&R’s story is that classic surly captive/captor situation with possessive claiming that is a tad uncomfortable in the beginning. But for some space erotica- it’s surprisingly very sweet & fast paced. I’m a fan. These are short, spicy & such a blast!

Perfect Match
Scarred, surly, and sweet hero? Yes, please! Strong yet stubborn heroine? I'll take it.I loved Liz and Raahosh together. She was just what he needed. They both held their ground but loved each other hard.A great addition to the series. I like how each book gives enough of a teaser you want to read the next one in the series.

As good as the first!
I really enjoyed this book. It was really interesting learning more about Raahosh and Liz, and watching them grow as individuals. If you enjoyed the first you’ll enjoy this one!SPOILERS:Raahosh knows Liz is his, no matter how she feels about it - he will make her realise that they are right for each other… he just has to make sure she survives on this planet first by giving her a khui, then he kidnaps her.Secluded from the tribe, Raahosh tries to ensure Liz will love him and stay with him, while Liz stubbornly resists. Angrily, she talks at Raahosh, not knowing he can understand English so knows what she’s saying.Their days are filled with hunting and survival for a time, until the tribe finds them and all hell breaks loose…

Loving this series
Liz is one of the more injured girls from the crash landing, but she is stubborn and headstrong, and refuses to let anyone help her. But Raahosh has been fawning all over her since the big blue aliens arrived, and Liz realises that’s because he has decided he wants her to be his mate. Why does she have to get the scariest-looking grumpy one though? And once she sees what the 𝙠𝙝𝙪𝙞 are, how they enter the body, she doesn’t care if it’ll save her life. She wants no part of it.Ah man I felt so much for Raahosh! He’s always felt rejected, like an outsider in his tribe. He only has one true friend and has never had a lover, which he can only assume is because he is ugly from his scars. So when Liz rejects him over and over, even though their 𝙠𝙝𝙪𝙞 have resonated for each other, he is hurt. I just wanted to cuddle him!!! The giant, terrifying, alien. The two of them were ultimately quite cute together. Liz jabbered nonstop, even when she though he couldn’t understand english. And Raahosh is your typical silent, grumpy male. But he had so much respect for her in his own way, never wanting to push her too far. Then, of course, there’s all the sex. All.the.sex. And the awkward, slightly cringeworthy terms the aliens use, which was actually quite funny - I believe intentionally so.Onto book 3!

Like them better than Georgie and Vektal
I didn't think I'd like a couple more than I do Georgie and Vektal. In fact, I find myself partial to Liz and Raashan. For the record, I am glad to finally find a female character as equally as stubborn as I am. I find myself frustrated when the women in books cave so easily. It is predictable and getting incredibly boring.Raashan is a real Barbarian Alien, with his missing horn and scarred face. He's a literal Caveman extraordinaire. I admire his patience and his willpower not to say anything and let Liz talk her mouth off is incredible.Ruby Dixon has managed to bring such an incredibly difficult subject and managed to spin it into a real story that deserves 4 out of 5 stars. Can't wait to get to book number three.

Great fun to read...
I found reading Ice Planet barbarians between my dark and emotional reads a perfect mental boost. They are fun to read. 🔥🔥🔥 Steamy and spicy.Liz and Raahosh's toxic start to an exciting relationship is a fantastic read. Liz's personality is absolutely vinegar and funny enough I don't like her, yet I enjoyed reading her story. Raahosh I felt so sorry for him with these mixed signals from Liz. Luckily Liz stepped up. An awesome thumbs up from me...

Loved it!
Loved it as much as the first one I just found Liz really annoying to be honest. It would of been 5 stars otherwise. It starts off when the aliens are taking down the big monster to get khui from for the woman but from Liz's perspective. We also then find out why she is gone at the end of book one.It is not a repeat of book one at all, this has a completely different plot and revolves around different characters. It's just as good as the last one but I just found Liz really annoying at some points
