Good Smile Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Mami Tomoe Nendoroid Action Figure

I began collecting nendoroids a few years back. I finally added all of the Madoka girls to my collection this past March.Mami and Madoka (and all their parts) arrived STICKY. Like someone-dunked-them-into-sugar-or-syrup-before-sending-them sticky. I was a little perplexed, and kind of grossed out. These were my first pre-300 nendoroids, so I did some research.Older nendoroids (pre-300) are more than likely to arrive sticky. Especially if they are mint in sealed box. It’s due to the plasticizing agent Good Smile mixes with the PVC to make a softer model. When a Nendoroid is displayed out of box, the agent breaks down and evaporates into the air. However, when the Nendoroid is still sealed, the breakdown of the agent has nowhere to go and leaves a sticky film residue on the Nendo and its parts.If you find yourself getting a sticky nendoroid, you can use room temp or warm water and dish soap (like Dawn) to clean the doll. I usually wash my older nendoroids, then let them soak for a few hours, and wash them again for the best result. Your nendos will be perfect in no time!

This figure took about 3 weeks to get to my house (probably because the seller I bought from ships from Japan). But I was happy when I received it this morning. It's such an adorable figure. The paint job is perfect (as expected from Good Smile Company) and she comes with a lot of cute accessories to play around with.So why 4 stars instead of 5? Because this figure was a PAIN IN THE BUTT to assemble. Getting the stand peg into her back was the most stressful part because it didn't fit. Luckily, after searching on the internet I found a solution that helped me. If you're having troubles getting the peg into her back, just use a hair dryer on the back of the figure (where the hole is located) for a few seconds to soften the plastic, then try putting the peg in there. It worked for other people and me. Although, she still falls out of her stand easily and her arms like to come off easily as well. Hopefully I won't have to move her around too much in the future.

this is a real figure! i received no scratches or smudges on the figure! my only complaint is about the figure itself, which is that getting the figure on the stand isn't very easy! it takes me about 10 minutes each time i try to get the figure onto the stand without the pieces falling off of the figure! aside from that, though, it's a very nice figure! i also love the box! ^u^

This is definitely the authentic nendroid. Be aware that since this figure is quite old she will probably be a bit sticky. This is nothing to be worried about as it is just the plasticizer (a chemical that makes the PVC that these figures are made from) more flexible. A soak in lukewarm water with a bit of gentle soap should fix that!Overall she is a intricate and beautiful figure, and you really can’t beat a price under $60 for her!

Mami makes a beautiful Nendoroid with a wide array of pieces for a variety of situations. She comes with three expressions, extra arms and hands--two of which hold a cup of tea and a saucer, a bent leg, four rifles and four clear holders for them, a large rifle, the sweets witch, a stand, and three bendable joints--two long ones (for the witch and the rifle) and one short (for the figure). Her hat is magnetic so it easily stays atop her head and can be removed whenever. One of her right hands has a clear peg that can be inserted into a small hole in the back of the large rifle or into a small hole on the inside of her hat so she appears to be holding it. Can confirm that this is fully authentic and a must have for Madoka fans!

I just got her today and my god.. She is so dang cute!! XD She comes with 4 rifles, her big canon, 2 extra face plates, a stand of course, Charlotte the witch, 2 hands holding a plate and one with a cup of tea (which I made mine do)So much stuff came with this figure It was so hard to choose what pose I should use. XD she comes with more but once you get her you will see for yourself. I wanna get the homura nendoroid so I can recreate the fight scene from rebellion. 😄She is my second nendoriod but my very first madoka magica figure. So I am pretty happy since mami is my top favorite from the anime. Get her so you can see how amazingly cute she is 💜

I just got mine yesterday and I love her so much! She's my first nendoroid so I was a little worried about it being a fake but she arrived in perfect condition and exactly how she looks in the pictures. I had a hell of a time trying to get the stand into her back (it doesn't seem to fit properly and I had to use a lot of force to get it in there, hence the 4 stars) but other than that she's perfect :)

One of the things people online use to determine whether a Nendoroid is a bootleg or real is whether the sticker on the box is printer or real. I recently learned that this was inaccurate, and that not all Nendoroids have the sticker at all. I was able to determine that this Mami was real, and she's in perfect condition. If you have trouble fitting the part of the stand that goes into her back, just blow dry the back of Mami (remove head, arms, etc) for 30 seconds.

A gorgeous figure of Mami Tomoe, I am extremely happy to finally have her in my collection! No issues at all, the only thing that I noticed was the figure came extremely sticky, no worries though, nothing a quick google search can't solve. Apparently due to it being in storage for so long a chemical in the plastic makes a thin, sticky layer on the figure if it hasn't been able to be aired out haha, just wiped her down with a wet wipe and gently cleansed it with soapy water and she was as good as new!

Brought as an Xmas gift for my daughter it arrived earlier than stated and in great condition

Mami is adorable! She has so many accessories like her guns, a tea cup and a little Catherine to float around her. She even has a little magnet in her hat to help keep it on her head! There was a mix up with another figure but the seller was really excellent and sending a replacement and talking with me the whole time. A really excellent seller and a really adorable figure!!

Wonderful quality, as expected of Nendoroids. Easy to pose, brilliant paint job. Haven't quite figured out how to pose her properly with her rifles. Head is detachable. Would recommend to any Mami fan or anyone looking to complete the magical girl collection.

Very cute!! Some of the parts are quite fragile but she is a legitimate Nendoroid and overall good quality.
