This is a quality product. Very sturdy. I had to send it back because the arm was not long enough for my wife to use while sitting in her recliner.

Got this to hold my iPad when I am doing flight sim. Looks great in my set up and does it’s job. Puts my iPad at an easily accessible place out of the way of my flight sim gear. Very sturdy and flexible. Love this mount.

Just needed an easy way to watch my tablet while on the treadmill at home. Works perfectly!

Even though I like it and it’s a well made item I found the clamping knob was too small, which made it hard to get good stability. Being that I’m older my finger strength is not what it use to be so a bigger clamping knob would have been better. I did return it for a full refund but would buy from seller again.

I bought this stand for my workbench at my job, to facilitate communication with other departments without having to retreat to my office (and to stream music during working hours and, as visible in my photo, to bring some of the luxuries of home to myself when I'm working after-hours).The item arrived fine; There's a little plastic snap-on back cover that seems like it should be attached to the portion of the stand that clamps to the table, and that arrived broken in the box and consequently unusable, but it really doesn't seem to offer any real benefit other than being one more link in the cable-management chain (the item is not even indicated on the packing list/instructions as a part) and I don't miss it at all. I use a Samsung Tab 10.1A or some such device [I don't recall the actual name] installed within a very nice dust-free protective case that sports a built-in stand. Upon unpacking the stand I found that the 5/8" thickness of the tablet in its case was just a little too thick to fit within the tablet-clamping portion of the stand, but glancing at the stand I noticed it had a grey rubber cushion on the inside of the tablet-clamp that decreased the maximum depth allowable, and that the two clamping-arms had similar grey rubber cushions which had the same effect. After doing some eye-ball measurements I figured that those items were compounding together to be the sole cause of this issue. I tore the cushion off the back and removed the cushions from the arms, and my tablet in its case fit perfectly within the stand! Success!I have no issues whatsoever with the stand bearing the substantial weight of the tablet within its case, as the hinges on the stand can be tightened or loosened with an included 4mm hex wrench so you may find the perfect balance between the weight of whatever device you use and however freely you would like the arms to move; For my tablet I have to tighten them to the maximum, but the stand stays wherever I set it and doesn't droop while I use the thing, and I have no issue re-adjusting the stand as needed without breaking out the hex wrench.The build quality of the unit overall is rather nice! It seems sturdy, and I like how the cutouts in the aluminum provide a nice pathway for you to feed through and organize any audio and USB cables. If you have a phone or a tablet with a case that has a built-in stand, chances are it's thick enough that you will have to modify this item so that it plays well with your device. Additionally, keep in mind that large items can only be mounted in "landscape mode" with full security; Since the tablet-clamping portion of the stand is connected to the main arm with a ball-in-socket kind of fitting, you can easily rotate it however you'd like, and it seems to hold any given item well, but without any kind of support on the bottom edge it theoretically could increase the odds of your device slipping out. However, regardless of how I position it, I haven't encountered any issues with the device slipping out (and, keep in mind, I tore off bits that would increase the grippiness of the tablet-clamp).I'd buy it again, if needed, and would recommend it to any buddy looking for a similar item. Can’t fault this mount. Solid and flexible. Highly recommend. The clamps also big enough to go other the frame of the desk too which was lucky for me.

Looked at these types of stands a few times but not tried one until I bought this. So wish I’d bought one sooner. I get a lot of neck problems and am an avid reader (via kindle).My neck and posture are not brilliant but are so much better with this, brilliant bit of it attached to the arm of my chair. Great for drawing on the kindle too, like having an easel.Brilliant piece of kit

Opened the box to find that the black plastic cover had been broken in transit!No option to return for a replacement as it was now unavailable.Decided to attempt to glue the plastic pieces together and see if they would hold while I assemble the rest of the parts, all good so far.The actual unit feels solid, well painted and well made.Great that you can tension each of the arm joints to get the amount of resistance you want with the hex key that they supply.The head ball joint tension is by a thumb screw and this looks like a possible failure point in the future due to the head of the thumb screw being made of plastic. Would be a better idea for the manufacturer to have replaced this with another hex head bolt.Overall a very good, solid piece of equipment only let down by the cheap plastic parts.
