Apple Watch Band - 42 mm Unique Hardwood Watch Strap for Apple iWatch with Extra Links and Tool for Resizing (Sandalwood)

I've wanted a wooden band for my 38mm Apple Watch for awhile now, and Ottm were recommended in a band review article I read. I searched Amazon and saw several offerings from other vendors with generally positive reviews, but decided to go with this one. I was in no way disappointed: this band is every bit as lovely in person (perhaps more so) than the pictures. It's comfortable, light, and the design quality seems excellent. It's also not too bulky for my small wrists, which I was a little worried about; I was easily able to take out enough links (4) to make it fit perfectly. All tools needed for link adjustment are included, as well as two extra links/pins to add links if you have large wrists (or save as extras if you happen to break a link, which doesn't seem likely). The online tutorial shows how simple adjusting the band is. If the zebra wood (or other types of wood) were available in the 38mm size, I'd probably buy several. The price is perfectly reasonable for the quality of this band. I'm pleased enough to write a review (not something I often bother with given my hundreds of Amazon purchases ;-). Way to go Ottm -- in a world filled with cheap Chinese crap, you've produced a beautiful, quality product that got everything right. Love it. :-)

I got an Apple Watch 2 in the Space Black Stainless Steel Case with a Space Black Link bracelet - but I wanted a case of a completely different material and color, in order to swap out with when I want the watch to look less "black tie".After a few failed attempts at wooden bands - I finally landed on this gem from some webpage I found via Google, that was discussing the best Apple Watch bands in the market.For one thing - most wooden bands tend to be either one boring shade, or a color that's too light and looks off, for a black Apple Watch case. This is not to mention shortcomings on the actual band designs as well.This band looks even better in person. The dark-brown wood shade on it (from a distance, it looks black/ebony), matches the black on my case - plus, its two-tone also offers a reddish-brown shade that I can match with other accessories of various colors as well (see pics next to my leather bracelets of two different shades of brown and a black one). I would also wear this with my red shirts as well.It came with a tool and extra links to add (or remove) as needed - which was easy enough for me. Also, like the official Apple bands - there is no "wrong way" to attach the band to the watch, and it's easy to detach and attach to the case as well. It's really quite dummy-proof in every way - great design!I get a lot more compliments on it, a helluva lot more than my Space black Link Bracelet that costs over 400 bucks!!!One thing I would caution when swapping out wooden bands in general - wood is a material that is more prone to breakage than any other watch band material. I broke off one link due to my own carelessness when swapping out, but I had an extra one on hand. This is not a failure of this band - it happens with wooden bands in general. Just swap out your wooden bands with a lot more caution than you would with your leather, or silicone, or metal bands.You only need to worry about fragility when swapping out the band with a different band and vice versa, but once installed and on your wrist, fragility is a non-issue.This band is definitely worth a lot more than the price I paid for it.

I just love...love...love these bands! After purchasing my apple watch sport on Black Friday I knew I wanted not only a beautiful band but also a uniquely different one. I stumpled upon these bands and fell in love with the picture! So I ordered two The Sandal Wood and Zebra Wood! I had to wait till christmas to open my watch (Wife Gift to Me) so my review was delayed but WOW once I put the band on what a difference it made! From childish band to sophisticated and casual...My girlfriend loves the finish and look of both the Zebra Wood Band and Sandal Wood Band which also match my shamballa bracelets! The bands come in a nice secure box with extra links if you have a bigger wrist also you can remove links if your wrist is smaller...it has clear instructions on how to do this just be extra careful...By the way I had to add in the review also I had a problem since I had to purchase the bands on seperate cards so I didnt qualify for free shipping on the second one...I contacted the seller (owner) and he was SO HELPFUL and nice he tried his best to get me free shipping on the second band! He went above and beyond to ensure I was a satisfied customer! That is a dying breed nowadays! Thank you to him LOVE MY BANDS!!!

I could not be happier with my new sandalwood watch band.The band fit perfectly on arrival, but even if it had not, there are extra links included and the instructions on how to lengthen or shorten the band. The hardware in the band's clasp is also nicely done; not pinching or pulling arm hair at all.To tell you that this band is stunning would be an understatement; it is gorgeous. Every person who has seen the band has commented on how attractive it is. Not only do I have a nice new watch, capable of many wonderful high-tech things; I also have a work of art holding it to my wrist.Each link is amazingly smooth to the touch and the grain variance and coloring will keep you looking at the band regardless of your need to check the time.Do yourself a favor and buy this band for yourself if you fancy great-looking, functional accessories.
