Material quite thin and edges fray a lot. The picture seems to suggest that the edges won't fray. Not sure how it will machine.

It is a convenient amount of fabric and good value for the price. I'm using it mostly for crafts and I'm happy with it. There is a bit of fraying as expected of hessain, but it's easy to manage.
