No where in the instructions does it says that anything should be added to the water. With warm bubbly water circulation through the small holes, I wouldn’t add anything to the water to void the warranty.

Q: Do the white massage rollers roll on its own under your feet bath and forth or do you have to move your feet back and forth on the rollers?

No the rollers do not move on their own. And they aren’t comfortable under your feet either. This is one of the worst foot spas I’ve ever purchased.

Q: Does this have to be plugged in or battery operated?

Plugs in-I don’t recommend the product. It has no level controls on the bubbles and the water splashes out everywhere

Q: Does the water cover the whole top of your foot?

It covers your feet but if you fill it that full with water then it bubbles out over the side and gets water all over the place
