Although it allows you to mount your video card sideways and looks fantastic, after reading and watching many performance reviews, I decided to mount it directly to the motherboard instead. It's a high piece of quality part. However, it's for aesthetics and not performance.

I previously ordered a $40 PCIE riser, but the problem was that it did not fit and mount onto the case (5000D) properly. It was completely fine mounting onto the vertical mount bracket, but the graphics card was flimsy and would bend around.After a day or two, I decided hey, why the hell not and purchased this PCIE riser to replace it. This riser made a world of difference. The graphics card is now firm (like I can grab the card and wiggle it and it will stay like I mounted the card with steel) and the riser works like a charm.If you have a 5000D or 5000X, you'll have the default Corsair mounting holes already in your case. Spend the extra money, don't be like me and grab a cheap cable and have to replace it later.

This is probably the cheapest riser from a reputed brand, other brand risers were too costly. This one helped me vertical mount my GPU in my quite old Cooler Master Storm Trooper cabinet. The quality is good, works quite well with my PCIe4 GPU, am fine with PCIe 3 speeds.

Gekauft um meine GPU vertikal einbauen zu können. Das Produkt konnte die Erwartungen zu 100% erfüllen. Keine Performanceunterschiede erkennbar, dafür visuell ein deutliches Upgrade.
