7316 TROMBONE BRUSH

Bought this product to clean the drains in my 94’ Mazda Miata. Worked ok for this purpose, but did not look like the picture. The wire is not as long as it appears to be in the picture and the brush heads are colorful plastic instead of wire. If this is what you are looking for I’m sure it will suit your needs, but if you want what you see in the picture know that it’s not necessarily what you will get.

I used to play the trumpet in 5th, 6th and 7th grades (about 40 years ago). OK, that is is far as I can comment on cleaning a trombone.I too am a Miata owner (2006 NC). I too have a lake inside my car after a hard rain.Unlike some owners, I was unable to clean out my drain tubes from the top. The trombone cleaner never made it down the hole. So I came up from the bottom instead. A few inches in front of the back tire, you feel in about a foot, then up, and you find a hole (be careful, it can be sharp - I did not feel a rubber flap as some people have suggested). I stuck the trombone cleaner up the hole and pushed and twisted until it was all the way in. (I could see it up top in the drain slots in the convertible top well, so I know it made it through. Stuff came out the hole below (water and yukky leave residue), so I hope I will have no more flooding.By the way, it looks exactly like the photo. There was no coating on the wire as some reviewers said.Works like a charm. As other reviewers have said, every Miata owner should have one.If you own a trombone, buy a Miata.

Great brush - yet we do not use it on a trombone as we do not own a trombone (we play woodwinds, not brass instruments) - yet it works perfectly well on our Mazda Miata in clearing and keeping the soft top drains clean and clear!

The product pictured in the listing is a wire brush which extends strait when unwrapped and thus curves easier when used. The brush I received is sleeved in plastic, which holds a rigid circular shape when unwrapped and is difficult to use. I do not recommend purchasing.

At the advice of others I decided to purchase this for cleaning the drain's on the Miata and it works perfect. I am sure other vehicles could fit the bill to. On another positive note the seller shipped this item fast with no problems would buy from again. Thank's again!

I use it on my Mazda to clean the drain worked like a charm. Dealership would charge at least 200$ to clean the drains out. Took my husband 5 min. Well worth it.

I dont know how this is at cleaning trombones but it clears 2006 to 2015 Miata water drain holes perfectly

Plenty of length on this brush. I'm using it to clean a long tube, not a trombone, but it worked great.
