Copper Slug and Snail repellent Rings 10cm pack of 6

Rings work well and last a long time, BUT REMEMBER SLUGS HATCH FROM UNDER THE SOIL,so you can still get a fewyoung slugs hatching inside the copper ring,for this reason I always sprinkle plenty organic slug pellets inside the copper rings. The vast majority of the slugs will approach your plants on the soil surface BUT WON'T GET PAST THE RINGS. The slug pellets inside the ring will deal with any slugs that hatch UNDER YOUR PLANTS . I HAVE ORDERS MORE OF THE LARGER SIZE. definitely would recommend.

These definitely helped protect some of my Cosmos but some slugs still seem to parachute into the ring & feast!!

Used these before and 97% of snails avoid them. There's always a couple that try anything. Ordered quite a few of these. Work better that the copper tape that goes round pots

They don’t get better or more durable than this.Make sure you get the right size as this particular one 10cm is a bit small. I have both sizes and prefer the larger.

I have just wasted a load of money on these, it says 10cm, I bought them to go around 10cm posts, but only 3 of them are big enough, the others leave a huge gap, they are 8-9cm, therefore completely useless, to return them I would have to spend a huge amount of time faffing about and travelling to the post office and queing for ages, I don't have a load of free time to do that.

Slugs not bothered at all with the copper ring. Found slug in 3 of the rings feasting on my plants. Not impressed.

These rings are easy to use singly or joined together to make them bigger. I used two together to go around my hosta plant and give it plenty of space but it didn’t protect it from snails until the plant grew taller and the leaves finally were raised high enough from the ground. I had to cut off the lower leaves which were decimated by snails and while doing this I found many snails inside the ring under the hosta leaves. But I might have super snails, as I’ve bought everything advertised to get rid of snails but they’ve never worked.

We’ve had these copper rings in place for a while and it seems to be keeping the majority of slugs at bay. Somehow a couple have made it inside the rings so they are not entirely foolproof (or we have super slugs) but have definitely reduced the number which were happily eating our plants.
