I bought this based on a recommendation from a friend. I already tried two flat panel antennas that performed poorly. This one did better than those but still has issues.I set this up by a window in the man cave which is in my basement. I scanned and got 37 channels. All come in clearly. The problem is the antenna won't pick up the ABC or CBS station. I will mention I live in the DC burbs. Those two stations use a VHF signal. This antenna has an issue picking up channels using VHF.I tried moving the antenna to different areas. I even tried it on another TV. Still no ABC or CBS. For that reason it only gets 3 stars

Three times is the charm, they say, and in this case, it's true. This is the third antenna I've tried and the first one that actually started working as soon as I plugged it in. The other antennas only pulled between 20 and 30 channels and with 63 channels available, this one pulls in 60. I didn't really care about the amount of channels, but I wanted the basic ABC, NBC, and CBS. Because DirecTV jacked my rates and wouldn't give me any more discounts, I cut the cable earlier this year. I had Locast for my basics, but the courts shut them down. After the first two antennas, I thought I would be lucky if I got anything beyond those three, but I get a lot, and the the only station I don't get is Fox. So, for $65 a month, I have basic Netflix, Prime, HBOMax, Frndly, Disney+, Paramount + and a host of free shows through other apps. Now, I have basic channels back. The picture quality is very good. I'm very happy with this product.

Easy to connect. Decent antenna.

This is not my first TV antenna. I live in a tough location, and I kinda know what to expect. This did that.I needed a long cable that was thinner than RG, and I wanted the amplifier to be on the antenna end of that cable. I believe that is the case here (the USB box is, I believe, simply to put power on the cable for the amplifier).One result of note: the antenna worked well on a Hi-VHF station; note that I hung the antenna in a horizontal orientation.

I purchase this 2021 amplified digital hdtv to replace my older one because of the sleek look. Not to surprise when arrived, the package appeared it had been a return, finger prints up and down on the product. Does work. I placed it in the same location where my old one sat, but still a bit stubborn on loading the tv guide. I am ok with this product, not sure if i’d buy it agin only due to the cost. If it was packaged neatly, i may have a different option and be able to provide a wow!

After having cut the cord not long ago for streaming services, I finally found myself wanting to get back some locals channels without the high cost of bigger streaming services. I was drawn to this antenna as I was searching around a bit because I wanted one that was more substantive where I could set it on a shelf more easily and not just one of the flat pads you more commonly see out there. I was really surprised at how simple and straightforward the antenna itself was, the extra long coax was a pleasant surprise that gives some great flexibility on placement and it was very easy to install. Still playing around with placement to get the best signal particularly for a couple major locals that I am initially seeing a weaker signal compared to others, but overall satisfied so far with this antenna and would recommend.

This is a standard powered antenna, for the higher price, you don't get any better reception than a powered window antenna. It is specifically designed for one TV. Installing in an attic will not work out of the box unless you have a power outlet available and some coax adapters. If you are looking for a longer range antenna, then you might just want to invest in a roof mount antenna. I wanted to replace my attic RCA ANT702Z which works for 4 tv's, but this was a significant downgrade and will be returning.

works great, been using it for 6 months. get maybe 1/3rd of the channels, but free is free. i have this in the living room under my TV. so no special placement in the house at all necessary.
