Super exciting story, interested in learning more about some of the new faces!

I don’t think this was the best story to bring Young Justice back together, but the emotional payoff of seeing Bart, Tim, Conner and Cassie all together is what makes the book work. Maybe the nostalgia will wear off in vol. 2 or maybe the story will take off on its own.

Good story over all. The dialogue drags a little between a few pages. The story also jumps back and forth a bit, but the artwork is great and I've always liked the old gemworld comics story (most of the time, the one where Dr fate showed up was a bit unnecessary). This amethyst is much more bold and daring, but still has the "act first think last" teenage approach. It's also better that she doesn't morph into an adult like before. The other characters are great too. Most people will probably enjoy Jenny Hex the most. The gemworld council is a bit confusing, but I'm sure more of that will be revealed in the new amethyst series.

They hug. That's all I wanted and that's what I got. A nice group hug. Oh the art is amazing. They story is also fun. The final boss was lacking. But I came for that SICK group hug man. My heart CRACK. AMEN
