It could be used as a gift for a traveler, a notebook for a child when going on a trip, a journal for someone that is making plans to go on a trip, etc.The leather on it, feels soft and strong.The inside has three different types of paper. It has grid/graph paper, plain white paper, and lined paper.All of which can be refilled from a local office supply store. It is just perfect to jot down notes, etc.It has a really neat overall design, with one faux-leather cord wrapped around it to close it.
