I didn't realize the differences there could be in fly paper
I use fly paper to catch flies and I thought I might save some money with this brand. It wasn't what I had been used to and I won't buy it again. The kind I used before had longer strips and they had sort of a stop so you didn't pull the paper out of the container the way I did with this one. Also, there are gaps in the adhesive on these strips, so they aren't catching as many flies as they could.Pay a little extra for the name brand versions they are worth the pennies in price. You won't be disappointed

it catches everything and everybody
"i like it" review doesn't mean that i like it. it means it's effective. it catches all kinds of disgusting flying stuff I never want to see or remember... and it is soooo sticky, that god forbid, you'll touch it... you'll be like that glue trap yourself, unless scrub with rubbing alcohol, then soap, water, repeat... and you'll still stick a little...and then i imagined that it might touch my hair if hanged from a ceiling... and then i couldn't sleep because i'm sure my next purchase would be a wig.

Junk
3 out of the 4 traps all had the plastic tube separate itself from the tape or rip while installing. Poor quality product. I've been using Victor brand for years and they work much better during installation. Thought I would try these but not worth it.

don't attract flys
In a week it only caught one fly. I don't have many but for me one is more than enough. I have not had a fly issueIn many years but the place I moved now does have a few. Fly swat didn't work for me so I ordered these and even though I hated to put them up I had to try to get rid of them. They need some thing to attract the flies . May try another brand.

It was completely useless, caught nothing!
I placed three of these traps in our kitchen where the flies were a problem and over the course of three days, not a single one was caught, only two tiny fungus gnats got caught. It was almost completely useless. I really would like a refund on this product but I cannot find anywhere to contact the seller, it was a waste of my money. Do not buy this item!

these work great.
Works well for flies and smaller fruit flies. Wish the pests would just stay outside and not need to kill them, but if you have this problem and need to get rid of the flies, these work great.
