Excellent product, what I'd expect from Anvil
Great paddle! This is solidly made and built to last a lifetime. I do a lot of 10 gallon brew-in-a-bag, and this is the perfect size for that type of all-grain brewing. If I brew without the bag, I prefer a wooden paddle to avoid scratches, this this is great for my purposes.

Best mash paddle for the money
The plastic mash paddle I used flexed to much and didn't have a large enough surface area to stir mash effectively. I didn't want to spend the money for a good wooden mash paddle. The Anvil doesn't flex, has a much larger surface area to stir mash, has a hook on the end of handle to hang on kettle, and since it's made out of a single piece of stainless steel (no welds) it will sanitize easily unlike wood. One slight drawback is the handle.has flat edges that may be uncomfortable for some people while stirring their mash.Well made product.

Well made
Well made stirrer, one piece so it should last a long time. Buy it once is my rule.

Examine before use.
Out-of-the-box this Brew paddle looks very promising, but.... after my first Brew I cleaned out my mash time and saw a bunch of little scrapes and knicks inside the cooler that weren't there before. After examining the paddle I realized that all of the edges were super rough and was causing all scraps and knicks. So now I have a mash tun that can harbor bacteria in those scraps and feel the mashtun is ruined.Do what I did and take some 100 grit sandpaper and smooth out all of the edges before you use it otherwise you're going to end up like I did with a messed mash tun.The pictures are hard to see but the inside the mash tun is full of scrapes and knicks.
