Fun puzzle
These surprise boxes are a lot of fun to build and the figurine you end up with is cute and playable. We already got seconds of this and will def get more.

Pretty cool
I bought this for my 4 year old. My Emery was so eager to see what she'd gotten that she did it backwards as I was reading the instructions. She wanted sand but got slime. The slime was sticky and had to be washed off the toys. Good idea for a gift or a quick, lazy afternoon activity.

Reinforced my cool aunt status
I bought 2 of these for my nephews. They loved them. They immediately got to work on them and had a great time. They said they would love another one to see what they would get.

Cool concept but poor execution
Iāve got a few of these for my kids now and they are huge Fans of all the treasure x toys. They love these too but I personally donāt think they have the same value. The concept is cool: dig into a Minecraft block with a sword/pickaxe and unearth the slime or sand. And inside is a character that you put together using a water-activated glue. The issues that I have are that the figures donāt move at all after assembly. This is in contrast to all other treasure x figures that have moveable arms or legs. The other thing is that the glue (the hearts activated by water) donāt really hold the figuresās components together. I typically have to go over it again with superglue to get them to stay. Other than that, the styling and the excitement are both fun. Just not the same level as other sets.

My six year old requested to write this review because he cautiously purchased this (with the money he had saved up from doing chores) despite some of the negative reviews. Hereās what heād like to sayā¦āThe building (of the character) went great, there were no missing pieces. Even when I played with it, it didnāt break. I would buy it again with my own moneyā
