They're rechargeable, no standard batteries to remember to change before they corrode. A recharge quickly. From no charge to full charge was about 45 minutes. I can even charge from the USB ports in my car.The units are blaze orange color, virtually indestructible, high strength plastic. The lights are amazing,you get nine different flashing patterns, and one of them is SOS. Plus it has a very bright white multi-bulb LED flashlight. There's a magnet on one side so you can mount them on your vehicle.They came with their own USB charging cables, to charge 3 units at a time. I'm going to place them out on my driveway tonight, to see how bright they are.The whistle that came with is quite loud, so anybody who may be searching for you after an accident, should be able to hear it.The hammer for breaking windows should work, has a point on it opposite side has a flat hammerhead. Plus it has a seat belt cutter. Good tool to keep in the storage compartment your in your center console.

Like the fact that its rechargeable very bright lights amazing all the different light settings also very nice orange carrying case. Would definitely purchase again.

Very nice pieces of safety equipment to have when needed! As described, charged all lights & they all work as advertised! Need to do an endurance test to see if they work for 50 hrs.

These were hard to remove from carry bag. Bag could be a little larger. Lights work as described and are very bright. Magnets on back aren't very powerful, thus don't attach very well to metal surface. Overall, I would buy this item again.

I have often seen disabled vehicles on the roadside at night or in bad weather. Many of them had no emergency flashers or hazard lights. I decided to put something in my vehicle to improve visibility under inclement conditions. Road flares only last about 15-20 minutes and a flame is not recommended if there is a fuel spill as may be present at a crash site. These electric LED safety discs are the perfect solution. I was considering getting only one, just to make my vehicle visible. Another customer commented they have several and charge two or three while the others are protecting the vehicle. The price was right, they don't take up much room, so I ordered the 6 pack. It included two charging cables, each of which can charge up to three discs at a time. The order included a window breaker, and a whistle (the whistle seems not very functional as a safety whistle, though it did get my dogs' attention). The discs appear to be well made and very sturdy. I'm not convinced the magnet would keep the disc attached to a vehicle at highway speeds, but that is not why I purchased them. The magnets are certainly strong enough to keep a disc attached to the ferrous portion of a vehicle at rest even during a rain storm. The discs are very bright and will definitely increase your vehicle's ability to be seen during an emergency. I have already recommended them to several friends. The storage bag fits under the front seat of my jeep. The discs are about the size of a bagel. The only negative issue I noticed, was one disc had the charging socket slightly offset, making it a bit difficult to get the charging cable plugged in. I was able to get it connected with a bit of wiggling. As the other five discs had no such issue, I believe it is likely an isolated incident. I hope I never need them, however, I feel safer knowing I have them. I suggest checking the charge on them every three-four months and certainly prior to cold weather, much like checking the air pressure in your spare tire. As far as delivery, they arrived the next afternoon. I highly recommend.

Light, compact, bright and seemingly durable. Rechargeable means I'm not always juggling the logistics of having fresh batteries for the moment I need them. Instead, I'll just plug them in from time to time to make sure they're ready to go.

These LED road flares are great! They stay charged for a long time. I put a reminder in my phone to recharge them every 3 months because, thankfully, I have never had to use them. I like the 9 different functions of the lights and the heavy duty magnet that sticks to the car. I liked these so much I bought them for my daughter, son-in-law, and grandson to keep in their cars.

These are bright lights that can be used on the ground or placed on your vehicle. They have a magnet on one side that you can stick on metal. There are different modes too, and can be recharged. Hopefully we will never have to use them though!
