4101 Single Replacement Super Needle Point Hook, Black Chrome

I seriously can't understand why this company or amazon will not provide a sizing chart for their product it make this sell so much better. I brought these to swap out treble hooks on my Yakima roaster tail lure as you can but these are a bit too small I tried to post this already with a link to owner hooks that tells you about sizing but amazon doesn't allow link so just google ower single hook sizing chart. As for me the hooks a bit small I posted two photos to help anyone who want to know the size with a penny as reference to size comparison. The second photo is a slight sizing chart for these size 6 to go up from the original package may this help anyone look to buy this or other similar size hooks. The hooks look good and I'll just swap them out on my smaller lures.

I listened to a lot of debates on benefits and negatives of these hooks replacing traditional treble hooks. I did my own fun experiment this weekend trolling one crankbait with factory trebles and the exact same crankbait on other side with owner single replacement hooks. The end result had a clear winner for fish in the boat and that was the replacement single hook. With the singles I caught eight total fish and lost one fish almost as soon as he was on the hook. I caught three fish with the traditional trebles and lost seven (woody area a factor on some of these). The trebles also got messed up more with weeds, got stuck more often and were harder to get loose. You will get bit a bit more using trebles, but you will get more fish in the boat with single hooks. Final score 8 fish 1 loss single hooks vs only 3 fish and 7 losses to trebles! This is just an experience for four hours. Some of those fish getting off were small and could probably not bite the larger single hook replacement (a bonus in my opinion). Another bonus I can think of is less time untangling with four less hooks to deal with. Last bonus (I can think of) is the one hook increases the action of your bait. I just ordered over $50 worth of these hooks for more of my lures after this experience.

As an avid catch-and-release fisherman, I will never use treble hooks again. They do unnecessary damage to fish, are a pain to remove, and snag everything they touch. Success-wise, I have just as much luck with straight hooks as trebles.I have tried a hand full of single replacements, and the Owner brand is among the best. They are quality hooks that don't rust easily, won't bend or break, and stay sharp. They are worth the price to ensure you won't lose a single catch, and never have to go back to trebles ever again.

Removed my Kastmaster trebles and used these instead. They're very sharp and fit fine.
