Rhode Island Novelty Super Spinning Laser Space Gun With LED Light & Sound

Ordered two. One arrived DoA and showed signs of abuse. I think I was sent a used one. My son loves the other that works, though.

This gun is not going to last. Period. But I knew this going into it, so I'm not too disappointed. We've had 2 of this model and they both have broken within a day. One never to make a noise or light up again, the other so far only the ball that spins is off the axle and still at least lights up and makes noise (it's only 3 days along from opening). So I will keep my star rating in line with what this toy deserves, but was okay with that going into it. Still was my 3 year olds favorite toy for his birthday. We actually bought a second one (12.5" galactic space police pistol gun) for a little bit more money with a little better reviews for his birthday as well hoping it would last longer and he'd have 2 guns to play with someone else, but that one also is not working properly. It has begun to make a thumping noise when the trigger is pulled, although the lights and sounds still work. With that said, I believe this would be an excellent toy for a one time event with no higher expectations. If that's okay with you, it's a cool toy.

Granted I bought this for a Halloween prop and it's just a cheap toy, but I still expected it to be in new condition. When I pulled it out of the box that it came in and took the wrapper off I could see that this toy look like it had already been played with. I mean really I'm not gonna play with this thing I'll probably end up giving it to my kid but if you buy a new toy you would expect it to not be scratched up and this paint scraped off in several places also oddly it has weird fingerprint smudges all over it. I guess the moral of the story is don't buy cheap toys off of Amazon.

I am absolutely disgusted and disturbed by the condition in which I received these items. I ordered two of these items, and upon opening my package, it was obvious that these items are NOT new as described above. They arrived in TERRIBLE condition, USED and broken. There were dents, scrapes, & scratches all over the guns and one of them was completely broken and wouldn't even function properly. I immediately contacted Amazon for a refund. I'm a huge fan of Amazon.com, and I am amazed that they would send out an item in this condition. Please save your money & time. Do not purchase this product.
