Didn’t last 10 minutes.
Bought this two days ago. It was delivered today. Gave it to the dog at 6:30. By 6:37 it was in the garbage b/c the dog was actually ingesting the indestructible tire. Not sure if the people who found this to be any good gave it to their pet turtles, but I don’t have an aggressive dog, and he was able to chew through it immediately. I’m attaching a photo so you can see. The rope was no longer attached, and half the side of the rubber had already been ripped apart. It is what it is - wasn’t a ton of money, but I don’t appreciate that it’s in the garbage the same day it was delivered.

We thought this would be a fun toy for our Rottweiler (especially since there is a picture of a Rottweiler on the packaging). My dog was able to eat a large piece of the tire very easily and very quickly so we immediately took it away. The next day my dog started to get very sick so we took him to the vet thinking maybe a piece was stuck inside of him. Nothing was stuck...My dog almost died!!!! The tire was breaking down inside of him and the toxic rubber was poisoning him. Fortunately after 2 days of hospitalization they were able to save my dog. I will be writing Mammoth on this as well. This product should be discontinued immediately.

Poisonous. Do not purchase.
If my dog touches this toy with his tongue he vomits 15 minutes afterwards. Why are you poisoning dogs, Amazon? WTF.

Perfect for "suburban dogs"
So this looked to be a tough toy and I should've known when a dog toy company says it's toy is tough they test it with Labradors and maybe a German Shepherd. I have a very small pitbull but he could/should work for UL TESTING. Ive spent hundreds of dollars in toys for him and so far the only thing that last past the first day is the Kong toys, but those even have to be taken away within the first week. Surprisingly this lasted past the first day, having learned to Carty the wheel to the top of a hill and roll it down my dog was a little more gentle with it but day two it started to Crack and peel from being chewed on with mighty jaws of slobbering doom.I would suggest this to anyone who DOES NOT have the following dogs;n Bulldog, pitbull, rottweiler, large German Shepherds, or any breed with powerful jaws and likes to chew.

Terrible smell, fun toy
Got this for my 8 month old standard poodle. He isn't crazy distructive, but does enjoying chewing. This was only $6, so I went for it. As soon as I gave it to him he loved it. I think he likes that he can put his face through it and his mouth around it since it is open on the inside (see pictures). I might even tie a rope around it when/if he gets bored with itPros:-Good for chewing; it's a good balance of resistance and chewiness (it's hard, but not so hard he can't make it move)-Totally fun; he sticks his paws in it, rolls it, carries it, and uses it as a pillow-Can be used to hide treats and peanut butter!Cons:-Awful smell!! I washed it a few times and let it side outside for 2 days and it still smelled terrible. Luckily puppy doesn't seem to mind-pieces break off as he chews. I will do an update in a while to see how much of a problem this becomes

"Tires" my dog out! Good weight.
My Bulldog loves this toy, it is her current favorite. I like that it is heavy because it "tires" her out from running after it across the yard a few times and trying to carry it back. At first I thought it was too big for her but she can definitely drag it/carry it and it has a lot more weight to it than most dog toys which makes her expend more effort. Great way to get a little extra bit of energy out of her. This toy is pretty rugged because my dog hasn't been able to put a dent in it. However, I did buy a second one for my sister's Pitbull and she managed to put a hole in that within about 10 minutes. She has a crazy strong bite and is very hard on toys. For most dogs I would say this will hold up nicely.

This is the toy I recommend most at the dog park for dogs that like to chew!
I love this toya for my mixed breed puppy. She's around 70lbs at 11months old and an aggressive chewer. She loves this tire. This will be my 3rd. I gave her the medium and after a few months she did destroy that one. She's had a large for almost 2months now and it's still fully intact and a favorite of hers. I just bought the 3rd so I have one in reserve or for Christmas(she might get spoiled with presents that day).Overall I've been very happy with the durability. When she did tear apart the medium one, it took her days on days to really bring it to nothing. During that time she never tried to eat the bits she ripped off, she just likes to destroy. But as she did you could see the threads through the material that are there to floss and clean the teeth.Overall one of my happiest dog toy purchases and at the price point, you cannot beat the value.I've recommended it to every one of my dog owning friends.

Heavy Chewers Paradise
Our dogs LOVE TireBiters Large Chew Tire!! Purchased our first one nearly 10 years ago and it is still a toy that is played with, even though, over the years there has been some wear on the inner ring of the tire For Christmas we decided to purchase a new one for our dogs and our boy Doc LOVES it. We actually put small balls inside of the tire (just big enough that they fit and don't fall out easily) and Doc will play for hours, until he is completely exhausted, which is great. We have Boston Terriers that are heavy chewers and very rough on toys, so purposely purchase toys that can stand-up to the beating they will give...TireBiters Large Chew Tire is one of those toys!! Highly recommend, and when the time comes again we will gladly purchase again.

"Strong chewers" - What a joke.
Marketed for owners of "Strong Chewers". I thought purchasing the 10" Mammoth Tire would allow my 9 month old Rotty a chance to play with a durable toy without me crushing his world by taking it away after a few play sessions... I was so wrong. The company should honestly feel ashamed for marketing this toy to "strong chewers" because it could cause serious damage to dogs if owners aren't paying close attention. The toy lasted a few play sessions over 2 days before we had to throw it away. Very disappointed. Low quality, not strong at all. From one pet owner to another, if you're trying to find a durable chew toy for your "strong chewer" this is definitely not the one. Save your money.

Pretty cool toy
This toy is huge! LOL bought it for our 4-month old Rottweiler. I guess we'll keep it aside for now until he grows bigger :)Otherwise, this toy is pretty cool, looks like a real tire, feels like a real tire but is dog safe. With the depth of it, I will probably use it as a treat dispenser, like spreading peanut butter or something sticky and get doggy to work a little.

My dog loves it, Problem is she has only had it for 1 hour and chunks of rubber are coming off it already. I should have bought the Kong.

I absolutely loved the size of this one
We have a very large rotti, who destroys most toys. I absolutely loved the size of this one, as it's more suitable to my boy than the small tire toys, but it didn't last a day. He had pulled all the stitching out at the inner part of the tire. I wish it were stronger material.
