This mat is perfect for our flat stovetop. The size was larger than the size of my stovetop, but it was so easy to cut down to size. It is a valuable addition to the kitchen as it provides a place for hot dishes and adds additional serving space on the counter while protecting my stovetop. It is also easy to clean.

easy to install, considerably cheaper than local/name brand, works a well. The only reason its 4 stars is because the controls can be a hazard. A spill or a cat walking on the controls can too easily turn the burners on, even when locked. We had an incidence where a spill was able to turn burners on even with a protective cover over the entire cooktop. Without a properly heat resistant mat, there would have been a fire. We now cover the controls with an additional cover that has worked well.

Easy to clean, and easy to cut to size. I ordered this because my cats keep walking over the controls on my induction stove and this long enough to cover the control pads. It's a total success -- I had to cut down the sides to fit my stove, but it was easy to do. Glad to have the option to customize it.

The size ordered was off when placed on my cooktop. The material is good and heat resistance also. I will use it as a back-up to the one I found which fits perfectly!
