So good. Can fit four sandwiches. Cooks paninis well too. Bacon cooks great in it just don't have the heat up too high. It's quick and easy to use. Easy to wipe clean. I just use a paper towel.

Brought as a replacement for my named griddle, love the ease of this one and the fact that your food doesn't advertise who cooked it.The open fully flat feature is great for larger parties. Easier to clean than the other famous grill pan love, love, ❤️

This little toastie machine is just great for making a quick lunch or a light dinner. Its easy to use and it also looks good sat on my counter-top next to my other VonChef machines. I'm gonna see if the other items I need are available from this seller. OK, sue me - I like it when things work well and they match too, hehe.

I bought this item 29 January 2023 return window closed in March, now / in is September / I was using the item as usual, I heard a little knock then power off internally, -------------

Made this purchase to replace an earlier model, bought in November 2019, which had suffered some kind of failure with its thermostat control. The new one is a different design - but not an improvement. As I try to do with my reviews, here is a breakdown of positive and negative points:-Positives:-1. Compact, folds away neatly and can be stored easily when cool.2. Easy to clean. Although this model does not have removable hot plate covers, the surfaces are non-stick, durable and very easy to clean.Negatives:-1. Poor Build Quality - this unit has a connecting cord that provides electrical power to the top plate - on my model the cord was too short and stuck inside the lid - meaning the unit would not close flat2. Poor Build Quality 2 - there are 6 screws holding the lid assembly together - 2 at the hinge, 2 for the top plate, 2 for the handle. ALL were loose, leading to a loose, wobbly operation3. Poor Build Quality 3 - With nothing between the plates, this unit was soo poorly assembled that the lid would not close flat4. Poor Design and Built Quality - Unike my older unit, which had a squared off base, this model has a base which curves beneath the hot plate such that the base is smaller. There are 4 rubber feet, burn these are so thin and crappy - and the base is not a flat surface - that the 2 rear feet don’t even touch my worktop. Instead there are plastic extensions at the rear, but these are hard plastic moulding - not “feet” and narrower, which leads to a less stable structure.ConclusionI bought this because, thermostat issue excepted, my first VonShef was a pretty good unit. This one shows a marked turn down in both design and build quality. The original would have earned 4 or 5 stars. This barely deserves 2. Please don’t waste your money here.
