Comes in a very heavy box. Must assemble kit and door is in slats, you’re literally building the door! Wasn’t super clear in the description, so that was a fine surprise.It was a little tricky with adding the hardware and to mount it, need to buy an additional board + hardware for your wall. It took me about 2 hours to assemble, but instructions were clear and all pieces included. If you’re hiring someone to install for you, read the instructions for size of header board needed and don’t forget the screws for drill that contractor will need to mount the header board on first. The header board is important so don’t damage your wall and can get the door weight on the studs and not drywall. If going directly into wall, you have to be sure where your studs are when hang rail and relationship to door opening, the header board allows you to have flexibility and safer than damaging your wall as handles most the weight.It doesn’t get a great close (most barn doors don’t!) but looks really nice and cost a fraction of other options. My second choice cost 5x this, so overall glad I took a risk on this kit and it looks much more expensive, feels heavy & quality.

I ordered two of these. They are perfect. Exactly what I wanted. Solid. Work perfectly for my closet doors in my master bedroom. Easy to assemble. They are heavy so willNeed two people to hang these.

This barn door is heavy duty. The hardware and door are of good quality and very easy to assemble and install. Better quality than expected. This thing is heavy. Recommend utilizing a header board (mentioned in installation instructions), unless your studs line up perfectly with the pre-drilled holes in the hardware.The door was a little damaged on the corner during shipping, but not enough to warrant an exchange.

I order almost daily from Amazon. I seldom if ever leave a review. I am taking the time to post this to ease the mind of the people out there who are thinking the same way I did. No way am I buying a door like this from Amazon. I had a unique situation in that I needed a 44 inch wide door to occupy the space shown in the photos. I was also limited in that the width of the door couldn't be more than the exact opening becuase when it's all the way open , the length of the wall in the hallway would only accommodate a 44 inch door. Otherwise it would hang over the doorway. Anyways, I decided on Amazon because of the reviews. Could not be happier. Very Sturdy, only advice is definately plan on putting up a header board which is not included. Save yourself the money from Lowes or Home Depot. Buy the door, the ease of installation and the quality far exceeded my expectations

The door came in several pieces and we were a little scared, but the directions were easy to follow and parts were labeled well. Nothing was missing and nothing broken. This one came with the door, the hanging bracket and the handles and bottom piece. No drilling was required. We did put up a header board to hang it from. Nice, solid door! The color is perfect. Hangs and glides nicely! Researched several doors and am very happy with our purchase.

We ordered 2 of these doors. One came damaged and one was fine. Return of the damaged door was simple and a replacement is being shipped. The instructions to assemble were clear and easy to follow. Assembly was quick and painless. It took me and my spouse about 30 minutes to fully unpack and assemble the door. I’m very satisfied with the quality for the price we paid for the door. Door quality is similar to barn doors we looked at in Home Depot but for about half the price Home Depot wanted. We’ve yet to get the door hung. The hardware seems a bit flimsy. I hope it holds up once installed. We shall see…

Would buy this door again. It took me about an hour to put together, is solid, sturdy, and BEAUTIFUL!

Door assembles easily but got stuck on installing the track and support hardware. Notice that a section of the manual is missing (it goes from page 4 to page 9) so critical information isn’t available. I attempted to locate a PDF online - no luck and Amazon rep didn’t have access to provide instructions either. They referred me to the video in the product section.Update (3/11/24): The seller reached out to me and provided the full set of installation instructions via PDF. It took a little while to get back to this project but once I did, the installation using the provided instructions was straightforward. Take your time and measure everything accurately. I'm very pleased with the quality of the door and hardware. I'd recommend going with a 1x4 or 1x6 header board to secure the door. With the provided instructions from the seller, I was able to complete the installation and I have updated my review to 5-stars.
