Excellent product!!! (I’m shocked by the sub 4-star rating)
These things work as they should, and don’t wear out for a long time. I have some tips.1. You need a screen protector that cover the recessed portion of the screen at the top of the phone. They have a rectangular hole where the ear speaker is so that you can hear calls. Many screen protectors have that top portion cut out. It will get in the way.2. It’s important to set it up straight. You can use Face ID with the lense covered. You don’t want it interfering with Face ID because it’s crooked.Bonus tip: I put mine on slightly right of center from my point of view. The cover will slide off of the closed position from regular handling sometimes. It often only slide a little bit. By setting it up slightly right of center, the camera may still be covered if it slides out of place a little.3. Be careful putting it on, but if you accidentally drop it, you can carefully pick it up and try again. When it’s position where you want it, press on it for 30 seconds.4. The adhesive is quite good. It can last over 6 months. I think that’s a value.5. As I said, you can expect it to be knocked out of place from time to time. It will happen more frequently as it wears out.At one point I thought I could design it better, but the more I thought about it I realized that it’s a tricky thing. If you make it too stiff, the slide cover might pop off when thrown in a purse or pocket. Maybe the whole thing would come off and lose stickiness quicker.I’d like to see cheap stickers that set up like this, though most are going to want to use the selfie cam some times. For extra security or for people who don’t use Face ID, something that covers the other sensors might be best.I’ve used these for almost two years and I think they’re fantastic. Not perfect, but well worth it at 5 bucks a piece. If you’re careful with it that could mean a mere $10 investment.I hope everyone has as much luck as I have with these things.

These work really well. They're easy to apply, and once on, don't come off. The adhesive doesn't really stick at first, so it's easy to precisely line it up before applying pressure to hold it in place. The trick to making sure the adhesive bonds with the glass is to clean the screen with soap and water first. Wet your finger and rub the screen. Then put a drop of dish detergent on your finger and rub it around. Then more water on your finger to rinse it. Then dry it with a paper towel.Doing it that way ensures the cover won't come off. At least for a while. Mine has been on my screen for a month and shows no sign of coming off any time soon. The front camera cover and holes for everything else all work as expected.

Plan on this lasting cover for about a month!
Damaged in a month.I purchased this lens cover for my iPhone Xr front camera on 3/12/22. The return window closed on 4/13/22. Today is 5/4/22 and I just realized that the little black circle that you slide to cover the camera lens in my phone was missing. All that was left on my phone was the black frame for the lens cover. While I had it on my phone I did like it, but I think sliding it over and back for about a month, which I probably did about 10 times since I don’t use my camera that often, is a lot of wear and tear on it.It’s a pretty fragile piece of thin plastic. So now I’m looking for a different replacement to see what will work instead of this product. Bummer.UPDATE: The company contacted me shortly after I shared my review, apologized for the experience I had and offered to send me a replacement, which they did. They did advise some possible causes of the defect such as pushing/pulling my phone in my pocket in/out of a pocket could be a cause of it breaking and thinking back I may have don that a few times which may have caused it.The company was kind enough to promptly send me replacements plus a couple extra. I have not had the issue send but I also have not put my phone in my pocket. The replacements have a new shiny metal lens cover and seems to fit better on my phone. It’s been about 3 months now and no issues. I would suggest using this product. So far so good and I am happy with the replacements.

It’s just ok
The media could not be loaded. Update -This falls off after 2 months of the purchase...was hoping it can last a little bit longer. Now I need to find a different solution...===========================================================================I got this so that I won’t accidentally share the video while on conference call. This little plastic is not cheap…and actually seems to be fragile. Luckily it hasn’t fall off yet (fingers crossed). It says we can still unlock the phone with this on..my experience is that it may be work 5% of the time. So I still need to enter my password which is not too great. But i guess this is the only solution on market at this moment so we just need to suck it up…I hope there are more sellers out there in the future to provide better solutions..

Works good
Works good my only issue with it was it’s a tiny bit too big to fit with my screen protector on i ended up having to cut some off to get it to fit

Easy Privacy
I like my privacy (who doesn't) and have seen enough news stories about people's cameras getting hacked that I've always felt vaguely uncomfortable with the front-facing phone on my camera. This slider is easy to install, doesn't block the camera when I do want to use it, and is a cheap way to gain a bit of peace of mind. It fits seamlessly on my phone (even over the glass protector I have on it) and honestly looks like it is a part of the phone itself rather than an accessory. Functional and unobtrusive.
