Heavenly Shampoo Wild Flower | Argan Oil for Dry and Damaged Hair | Paraben-Free, Sulfate-Free, 300ml (10.1 fl. oz)

Bought based on ingredient list, unfortunately, the fragrance was not of wildflowers in the fresh way I was envisioning. The fragrance was odd and off putting. The underlying notes that lingered were not fresh smelling at all, more heavy masculine that is typical from a lot of perfume fragrances anymore. I am still on the lookout for a fresh smelling shampoo that without being generic or sickening cloying.

Shampoos affect different people differently. This shampoo is being reviewed for my hair which is baby fine and long layered.BOTTLEThe bottle of this shampoo is tough to get open at least mine was. You have to press down REALLY hard on the pump and turn it. It took me and my husband 15 minutes to get this open, but we finally did it.You also don't want to pull off the plastic, because it has a label in English on it. If you peel it off, it is all Korean on the label under it.FRAGRANCEThis is a nice floral, but mine was not overpowering or strong. It is flowery but not like some of the drugstore shampoos from the US are.TYPE OF HAIRBaby Fine, Layered, Color Treated, Normal to dryPERFORMANCEThis shampoo has a bit of lather to it which makes me wonder because sulfates are usually full of lather too. But it did not make my head itch so far, which all sulfates do to me. The shampoo used twice cleaned pretty dirty hair well. My hair although clean did not feel stripped.HAIR RESULTSAfter washing, I let my hair air dry. Usually most shampoo if it cleans well will leave my hair static, or flat, or oily looking. This left my hair clean, not flat, and not oily. It did not have the expanded volume that Pantene Bronde, or Foxy Curls does, but it still is not bad.DURATIONThis made my hair stay clean for a couple of days- that is a big deal for me. Usually most shampoos make my hair look awful by the end of one day.THE BOTTOM LINEThis is a nice shampoo. It smells nice, fades fast, and leaves hair clean and nice for a couple of days. It did not weight down fine hair.MY RATINGFOUR STARS. If this added a little bit of volume to my hair, it would be perfect. As it is now, it is still pretty good and I will continue to use it.

This review is for Simply O Heavenly Shampoo, Wild Flower. The shampoo comes in a pump bottle and is 300 ml (10.1 fl oz). Except for the front of the label, which is mostly in English, everything else on the bottle is written in Korean. The online information gives the ingredient list in English, however, along with a lot of other information. This shampoo does not smell like wildflower to me at all, it smells like excessively strong women's perfume. (The online information says this Wild Flower fragrance is made by a professional perfumer.) I am not opposed to man-made scents, but this one is heavy and just way too potent. It is strongest when I squirt it from the bottle into my hand before rubbing it into my hair. It’s not a fragrance I would ever chose in a perfume for my wife, and it’s definitely not a fragrance I want on my hair or scalp. Fortunately, the scent starts to weaken a bit once the shampoo begins to lather. This shampoo lathers well and cleans okay, and it leaves my hair fairly soft. I have tried repeatedly, though, and I simply can't get past the initial blast of overpowering aroma enough to want to keep using this shampoo for the rest of the bottle. I let my wife try it, and she has the same opinion regarding the scent. I don't know if I just got a bad batch or what, but this is emphatically not the shampoo for me.

i really like this shampoo. it cleanses my hair without stripping it or making it more dry and it feels like a nicer shampoo than the price tag would have you believe. it’s better than the drugstore options but not as expensive as a department store or make up store. this is a lot better than my current shampoo too because my current one is heavily scented and i’m not into that but i don’t wanna waste it so i’ve been using it just to be done with it. can’t wait to use this one full time. it’s sls free, isn’t heavily scented, suds up fine, and rinses out clean. recommend! starting to enjoy korean shampoos way more than the drugstore stuff. i dunno if i’ll ever go back. my current shampoo is a p&g brand and it’s been bleh and weighs my hair down but this doesn’t make my hair flat :)

As several others have already noted, the pump does not work. I think it's sealed somehow for shipping, but i can't figure out how to un-seal it. So, I've been twisting the entire top off and pouring a little out, which as you can imagine is not the most efficient way to dispense. I end up using way too much at a time, and you don't need much of this shampoo to get the job done. Aside from that, I wanted to try it because it seems to have all natural ingredients. I have naturally curly hair and I like to stay away from the parabens, sulfates, and other bad stuff. I'm not obsessive over the ingredients labels other than that though. I'll have to take the manufacturer's word for it that the ingredients are wholesome and natural, especially because the back label on mine is completely in Korean. I like the scent, I don't find it too strong and I don't smell it for long anyway because I follow up with conditioner, leave-in serum, etc etc.. I do find it a little hard to wash out, but that's probably because I have to pour it out of the top instead of using the dispenser. My hair feels clean and refreshed after using it.Update: I've come back to remove one star. After using this regularly for a couple months, my hair felt less and less clean over time, even immediately after washing, and my scalp was getting a little itchy. I started washing my hair more often but it didn't help. I never got the pump to work, and I would get the shampoo out by unscrewing the cap and using the pump like a honey dipper, which was messy and super inconvenient. I decided to give up on this shampoo. My hair felt instantly clean once again after one wash with my new shampoo.
