Delicious, Bold Flavor and Nicely Packaged
We have picked up this Sockeye salmon as a gift many times over the years and it's always a big hit. The Sockeye variety is particularly flavorful (a pretty bold flavor, so if you prefer a milder taste go with the standard Alaska Smokehouse Smoked Salmon) but all the Alaska Smokehouse varieties are very tasty and are our "go-to" source for smoked salmon.The decorative wooden box is a nice bonus and a number of them continue to serve as decorations or storage boxes around the house :-)

Did not like!! I was looking for a dry jercky like fish.
As I said it was to wet and not what I thought it was too be.

Over Smoked
I was very disappointed with this Smoked Salmon. It was over smoked and tough. The ends were hard and you had to use a steak knife and fork to cut the Salmon in pieces. I eat Smoked Salmon twice a month and this was the worst Smoked Salmon I have ever bought. It was the texture of leather, and very salty. I do not recommend this product.

I only have praise for this product. Have given it for gifts. The wooden box and painting are a bonus, and the salmon is excellent!
