inspiring stories of sharing faiths
I became thoroughly enthralled with this book. It tells stories of people who encountered those of different faith traditions. Taken through the metaphor of meeting neighbors as in a journey, the reader learns of faith intersections where people have learned to respect and honor neighbors of various faiths even while disagreeing on some things. The stories show meaningful interfaith connections made while acting on personal religious convictions to love God and love neighbor.

I enjoyed the book I read a lot and I found the book engage me and challenged me. If I had anything to say negative about it I would comment that the writing style could be a little more engaging. But I'd recommend this book is something we all should

Embracing the Embraced
Every person of faith, all around the world, believes (their) God is love. Yet, even though as children we love and play with all equally, we gradually learn to change as we grow up to hate those different from us. This book gives promise that by seeing what we share in common, and try to build bridges across our chasms, we can find peace. With so many in the World without any faith, should we find strength in bonding with other faithful persons during this life, rather than shunning or hating them for their differences?

Very helpful. I love the contrast in thoughts of the writers as they explain their on interfaith feelings and experiences. I learned a lot and understand other faiths better. It is not so much written to teach the details of doctrines and specific beliefs as much as the writers express feelings and understandings as the find common ground and mutual respect for person who belief differently than they.

Great read
This was a really good book of short essays about really finding ways to love one's neighbor. A good book if one is doing ecumenical work.
