We purchased these for our indoor stairs to our basement that we had just sanded, stained, and sealed. They are amazing. They were super easy for my husband and I to put down. They have been down for about a month now and they are sticking great. We have gotten a few compliments on them as well.

Used on back patio steps leading down to pool.Installed quickly and easily... made sure the surface area was clean and dry.Did their job for a few months of kids and adults going up and down the stairs with bare feet and with various forms of footwear - both in wet and dry state.However, durability is a concern. These were installed in August 2016 and less than a year later a number of strips have the grit layer come off, leaving just the lower layer behind. I've written to the seller asking why this might be happening and what their warranty policy is... will update this review once I hear back.

The media could not be loaded.  I added these ceramic tiles to hide an ugly set of concrete block steps four or five years ago. I quickly realized that with a combination of slick shoes and rain, I had created an accident waiting for a place to happen. I have spent years trying to find a way to make my steps safe without covering up the beautiful tiles. I finally found this amazing product on Amazon. These slip guard self adhesive tape strips come in different sizes and colors as well as clear. I LOVE THEM. In the video you can see me twisting side to side in my bald slick shoes and they don't move at all. I can't get it to show up in a picture or video but when the sun hits these steps now, it looks like they have been sprinkled with diamond dust! These strips are for indoor or outdoor use and can be used on tile, wood, metal and other surfaces that need to be slip resistant and they are weather resistant too.

Works well and easy enough to apply. Still waiting to see how well they hold up and how dirty they get after prolonged use.

I have a 13 year-old 100 pound lab mix who has had an ACL surgery and is starting to have issues with his hips and getting around. This product was a game changer for his ability to get up and down the stairs in my home. I have 18 stairs with a landing... so I needed two boxes. While I wish the product was little more transparent, it looks good. You can definitely tell they are there, but for the positive help for my boy it is a small sacrifice. He gets up and down the stairs so much better... he use to hesitate going up or down and now he uses them like he did years ago.They non-slip also helps my clumsy wife after a bottle of wine... but, that is a whole other story...

Installing these was straight forward, however removing the backing was extremely difficult, which I was hoping was a good sign. After less than a month and a single 1/2 inch snow these are pulling up off the stairs and also cracked and peeling off from the middle.Will not buy again.

1/16/20 UPDATE: After reaching out to the seller directly, they explained that perhaps I received an older package of the stair tape in which the adhesive wasn't as sticky. They offered a refund or replacement even though I had already thrown away the product and packaging. I appreciated the refund and have modified my review based on my experience with their customer service.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Extremely disappointed with the overall look, color and the durability of this product. I purchased for my aging father as he has knees problems and I wanted to reduce the risk of any slips on the outdoor stairs. The color was nothing close to “semi-clear” as advertised (they’re very much white). At first, they were extremely simple to install and I was optimistic that these would be an amazing solution. No less than 24 hours later, after a light rainy day, I noticed that the adhesive appeared to be separating from the wooden stairs. The adhesive backing is curling upwards away from the stairs and is now causing even more of a trip hazard. I’m so disappointed that these lasted less than 24 hours. This product is such a waste of money!

This is a great product!!! I love the fact that it serves the purpose well and that its transparent which looks really good on my light wood floors. Having said that, I wish it wouldn't get dirty so quickly AND that It was easier to clean. I first used a microfiber cloth and then a heavy brush to no avail. My 1st choice would've been black/grey but I think it stands out a little too much.Already had to replace one stained with drops of wine that I couldn't remove. If anyone knows a better way to clean them, please let me know.

Well this was rather disappointing. I placed these on as per instructions (cleaned the wooden stair, made sure it was dry, nobody stepped on them for 12 hours), and after the first rainfall, they are falling off already. Given the price I paid for them, I am very disappointed.
