I love this product
This is by far one of my favorite stabilizers. As the product description notes, it is a CUT-away stabilizer with unique properties which are ideal for the type of embroidery I do (red work, botanicals, monograms, borders with a combination of thin lines and small satin stitch detail, etc), and the type of fabric I use most often (damask, sheeting, muslin, flour sack, huck, broadcloth, poplin). In almost every case, I need to be sure that no stabilizer is visible on the reverse side. The reason Stitch & Rinse is so helpful is the fact that once you cut away the excess, any remaining bits of stabilizer left around the edges of the embroidery will rinse away. What remains UNDER the embroidery stitches is a soft, delicate matrix of fibers which helps to keep the stitches in place while still letting the fabric retain a soft hand. I can't emphasize how important this after finishing a 30,000+ stitch count design consisting of vines and tiny seeds and delicate edges! Since this is my business (as well as a passion), I can't afford to have a customer bring back a product because the threads are coming unraveled. When I started my business this past summer, I was totally new to machine embroidery and so I immersed myself in stabilizer study. I bought a lot of different brands and different types. At this point, for the sake of convenience and economy I have narrowed down my stabilizer inventory to 4 types: Stitch & Rinse, Soft Tear Away, water soluble film (which I use not only as a topper but as a backing when the object is too bulky to be laundered), and occasionally paper-backed adhesive. By and large, the ones I use the most are the first two. And the ONE I use the most is Stitch & Rinse.

Great for embroidery machine applique
I made a machine embroidery applique quilt using this stabilizer for each block (I hooped the stabilizer then embroidered the block on top of it). After finishing the quilt top, I washed and dried the top in the washer and dryer. All the stabilizer was dissolved and the top ready to be added to the quilt "sandwich". It was a strong stabilizer to do the applique on and was instantly gone after washing. PERFECT!!

It's the worst. It's not stitch and gone by no means.
It's not at all worthy and won't hold up.

Good for light projects.
Good for my larger projects, had a problem with a small lace bookmark as it wouldn't come off.

Four Stars
The product works well, but be forewarned the stabilizer only softens when washed. It does not dissolve/disappear.

Not what I thought
This doesn't wash out. I thought I was getting something else. It has worked for towels on the backside. Tears to easy.

Non corrisponde all’annuncio

Stitch & Rinse Stabilizer,
I like the stabilizer. it does feel like the tear away and not sure how many washes it will need to completely disolve I not yet at that stage yet.
