Mind BLOWN!!
SixGill has done it again! This company keeps passing my expectations and amazing me with incredible products at outstanding prices. I'm typically not a spinning reel user, but we all know to be competitive you have to be versatile. The Karve will allow me to do that at a price that will not break the bank.The fact that this reel is so light yet so strong is going to be a huge factor on the tournament trail. As I mentioned before, I don't typically fish spinning reels often, but the neat button that collapses the handle will make it very easy to store and keep out of the way until it's needed.I would recommend this reel to anyone that likes to catch fish. They have a size that fits just about any fresh water angler. The ten ball bearings of the Karve 2000 makes for an incredibly smooth reel and paired with the customer service that SixGill provides, that is hard to beat.Keep up the great work guys!!

Great reel, highly underrated.
I love this reel! I've used it as the first reel out of the car since December or January. It's held its own against such major players as redbreast sunfish, river chubs, grass carp, largemouth bass, bluegill, & striped shiners, and it's still as smooth as the day I spooled it up for the first time. It even handled a 43-inch grass carp a couple weeks ago.

After mixed reviews I decided to go ahead and purchase the 3000. I have to say that I really like this spinning reel. I've used it twice in Galveston (saltwater) and performed flawlessly. It's a great buy for under $25.

Not a bad reel for the price
Not a bad reel for the price. I use most of my reels in the fresh and salt water environments. The outside screws are rusted but the rest of the reel still looks great and holding its own. I just used it today at the beach.

Reels very nicely and crisp actions
Opened it up and checked everything, and where lots of companies would make out of plastic, it is made of metal. Reels very nicely and crisp actions. Only complaint is that its not super smooth.
