Easy peasy, just what I wanted
I have a wax kit, and an epilator, and plenty of razors, which I use to varying degrees of frequency. I got these wax strips specifically for when I've just shaved and, you know, somehow MISSED STUFF. I also wanted it for my upper leg area, which is more sensitive and I don't like using the epilator on it.So now, I can epilate the lower legs, and wax the swimsuit line if I want to, really quick. The problem with traditional hot wax kits is you have to wait for it to melt and you have to set up to minimize the mess. Wax strips have no such restraints. It takes about 10 seconds of rubbing between palms to heat up the wax in the strips, then apply, then pull off. I've found I can even use each strip a second time (very basically, the sticky power is much diminished). These are very easy and it works great. It doesn't leave residue; the bit of sticky left is quickly removed by the oily wipes that are included. Yay.

So easy and effective!
These wax strips are so easy to use! No mess, no fuss, and you barely even have any gooey residue leftover to have to wipe off after you're finished. You just rub the strip together (or sit on them as you wax so to save time) and your friction makes them just warm enough to pull apart and use. Then slap on the skin, pull in opposite direction of hair growth in one easy motion, and BAM! Hair is gone! These are effective but gentle enough to go over the same spot twice if you missed some or didn't pull it off just right. These are great for in-between pro visits or for areas you are too modest to get done professionally. Great product!

Getting These to Work
The best thing about these strips are they are relatively mess-free and learning to use them is easy. If you have coarse hair, this might work a little better. The strips are essentially wax paper with a thin thin layer of wax that will melt quickly with heat from your hands. I did try using a blow dryer but found that it made the wax too sticky which meant you had to hold the strip to the hair longer until it cools and it leaves behind more residue on the skin. Here's some tips to make them work a little better:Use a medium-sized piece 2" x 2" to start by cutting down the large pieces. The more direct contact with the skin, the more hair it will pull.Try avoiding air bubbles by laying it so the long side follows a curve. To target specific hairs you can cut it into small 1"×1" chunks or use the small pieces. Place your strip using your finger on the hair and press for 10 seconds and then pull! You can repeat using the same piece until it's no longer sticky.Pull against the direction hair growth. It's really important to do this. It really makes the difference between pulling a bunch of hairs and one.I suggest splitting this up into 2-3 days if it's a big area. Where ever the strips leave residue, new strips won't adhere as well. The oil wipes are fantastic at getting residue off skin.Take a deep breath and breathe out while waxing sensitive regions. This doesn't work as well as hard wax so you won't be pulling out hair as cleanly but it still pulls out most hair. However, it takes a long since it only pulls out every other hair and you need to go back in with tweezers or a razor to get the rest. I probably wouldn't re-buy these.

Use your hairdryer!
This is a nice product for convenience, but simply using the friction of your hands, as the product packaging suggests, doesn’t work very well. I started using my hair dryer to heat the wax strips before peeling a sheet apart, then heating it on my skin after application. I’ve noticed that these wax strips are MUCH more effective when heated this way vs hand heat. I often have to redo the area a time or two, but it’s still a simpler process than heating wax pellets and getting it all over your bathroom!

This is PERFECT
I am floored- this is exactly what I needed and it will literally save you hundreds. Wish I had known about it sooner! The wax warms easily in seconds- and right in the palm of your hands! No weird beads or warmers or cleanup- no more appointments and tipping … I’d try to go a few weeks in between waxes but a couple weeks in I’d start to feel like I needed it and then just put it off as long as I could to save money. Now I can just take care of it whenever I want! The strips easily trim down to any size you want them to be and peel apart very easily. So WOW’d by this product’s ease of use and affordability- Omggggggg stop overthinking and BUY IT ! You’ve got nothing to lose but those hairs! 😆

Worth It!!
Wow. Why, for all these years, did I believe that I had to use "the name brand" (SH) ?!? Truthfully it is the name brand that would sometimes rip my skin off if I didn't go through a whole long ritual hours beforehand to ensure I was completely moisturized with some sort of moisture barrier to protect my upper lip...I always thought this was normal. I always thought that only the name brand was sticky enough to do a thorough job.Turns out, Nopunzel brand works AS WELL at sticking to that hairs - yet without any worry of sticking to the skin, and risk of embarrassing "burn marks"!TRY IT. You'll realize that you can ditch the name brand, save money, and save your skin!!

Very tricky to heat up and bad smell
I've used several different brands of these type of pre-waxed strips for home use and these are by far my least favorite. They take forever to heat up manually so I carefully wave them above a candle (as I've done with every other brand) until the wax melts and the strips are pliable. However with these ones, they go from too cool/hard to SCOLDING hot in .2 seconds. They take a very long time to heat up, and then when they finally do they almost burn me. If I let them cool after warming up they become like a thick goo that doesn't do a good job of grabbing the hairs and I have to use several strips to accomplish hardly anything. As a minor note, the wax has a bad smell that I'm not crazy about. I still have a lot left but I do not look forward to using them. Might buy a different box and save these as a last resort.
