Of the Many Training/Dummy Rounds Available, These Stand Out
Well crafted, starting with a sturdy cartridge case- the nickel plating should prove very durable. For safety, the neon colors of the "Primer" (and firing pin striking surface) as well as the "Bullet" stand out well and should be sufficient to assure users that these are not live rounds. For my use as film props, I added silver paint to the primer. I left the "bullet" alone, but if I had to paint those as well, I would remove them from the case and add a BB inside that would rattle when shaken to signal the 'dummy' round. If only the <cough> "Armorer" on the set of the ill-fated film "Rust" had followed standard protocols and checked their rounds before proceeding, the celebrated cinematographer Halyna Hutchins would be alive and director Joel Souza would have escaped injury. Be safe out there- nobody is looking out for you, but you.

They work for intended purpose
Not sure what the other reviews are having problems with, yes they are reused shells with 3d printed plastic insides but that’s why they are good they are an exact replica of a round but without the propellants just plastics. I did have a round get stuck in the chamber where I couldn’t get my slide back to eject the round and the gun wasn’t fully in battery so I had found a video on yt that helped but that jam was my fault if you know what you’re doing then they work but obviously if you’re buying these you probably need some training anyway so just take your time with issues, ik that they already giving me the experience I need to fill confident handling real ammo

Thanks for making these snap caps
They work as intended and I like having the bright orange. No mistaking these for anything else.

Kinda poor quality
For the price, these dummy rounds are kind of bad. The "bullet" is 3D printed and likes to fall out of the casing a lot. I had to apply a liberal amount of super glue to the bullet to make sure it stays put. The rounds are also supposed to simulate the weight of a real cartridge but it doesn't even come close to the real weight. I would understand if it was ever so slightly close to the weight but I can't even tell I'm holding one.The price of these should be a ton cheaper than what they're priced at.

Innexpensive, and they work.
There is no question about it, these are brass cases that someone has "loaded" with a 3D printed primer and bullet. Would it be the hardest thing to recreate? No. Do I want to take the time to find/create models for a 9mm projectile and small pistol primer, print them, and glue them into casings? For the price of these snap caps I could not justify doing that. Better to spend my time practicing than messing around making them. The best part is that they are brass and plastic, which will cycle like regular ammunition and not mar any surfaces in the gun. I have spent longer writing this review than I would take to reconsider buying these if I did not already have them.

Mediocre at best.
Purchased these for training and had issues before opening the package. You can see in the picture that there is an insert already loose from a casing. Others have separated during training causing loose inserts in the barrel. Sometimes this can be cleared by using my barrel brush to push the insert free. And in rare occasions I've had to break down and remove the barrel to clear it.These also do not cycle well through my pistol. I get multiple jams cycling through a single 15 round magazine. Sometimes it will jam to the point I have to drop the magazine. When I do drop the magazine, an errant round will fall out.I guess it just comes down to what type of training you want. If you're looking to cycle through a magazine for dry fire, these are not going to do the trick. If you want comprehensive training on how to deal with jams and clearing your barrel, then these are for you.
