Does what it's supposed to do
This is a very heavy weight compared to others I own and is a nice low profile which fits neatly with the record cover closed. I know there's a debate on this put I found no sound difference with lid up or down, so I put it down keeping as must dust off as possible. Back to the wieght I do have a couple of records which have a warp in them and this wieght does a very good job keeping it flat as possible and bass is much tighter with this on too making it sound a lot better also, so would fully recommend this.

Every vinyl enthusiasts must get one of these.
This is a wonderfully made equipment. It carries a decent weight and fits easily on the the centre spindle of the turntable. It keeps your record stable, reduces any vibrations whilst spinning your vinyl, therefore improving the sound quality.

Why so expensive?
I bought this to use with my Fluance turntable, and it is satisfying to see slight warps on records disappear when it's put on, but I can't grasp why it's so expensive. It's a lump of metal with a coating and a bit of felt on the bottom!

Heavy weight
Nice looking piece, very heavy, no issues with turntable spped. Can't say i really notice a difference in the fidelity playback with or without it, if there is it's marginal

Small But Mighty Addition
This is one of the upgrades that has made quite a bit of difference on my RT82. It is far heavier than I thought it would be, but it does not warp or damage records in any way. It does everything that is advertised by Fluance: reduces and/or eliminates any distortion or vibrations, keeps records flat and stops most wobbling, has a velvety underside to protect the label and it just looks cool as hell. It's pricier than most, but it's a quality build and it has definitely become part of my record playing routine with the only minus being that it obviously can't be used on 45s when using the adapter.

Nice weight, worry a little about it though
It’s got heft and it is sturdy. I feel it’s worth the cost. However, it is the heaviest weight I’ve seen and it concerns me a little that it could be too heavy and wear on the motor. I just don’t know if that’s a thing, but it’s definitely weighty.

It gave a new life to wrapped or too light records.
I have an acrylic platter and a few records were nicely fluttering and wowing their way to the discard bin. What a 750g hockey puck can do: make most your records improve. The flat 180g may see little or no improvement. The light weight with concave shape or some like lace on the periphery, will become 'OK'. Or, in some cases, like new records.Buying second hand? you will appreciate this addition to your system.Pricey? I choose this one for the weight, reviews and because my turn table is the same brand.
