I have not tried it in the field yet, but the charging port is so tightly closed that I am not able to open it!!It gets one star for this! If I am finally able to open this charging port, I will restar my review.

I have not done metal detecting before, but have been looking for an underwater detector that is affordable and of quality construction for years. AND I need one that can fit into my backpack for flights. This item does all of that. And it performed beautifully under water. I'm going back to Florida in a few weeks and then to Cancun, and I cannot wait to use it again. I only have two concerns with this item - (1.) My kids also want to use it and I'll have to share with them - haha, and (2.) I'd like to purchase the expansion coil, but cannot find it for sale anywhere online. Also, PRO TIP FYI - If you want to use this for beach detecting, many monopoles sold on Amazon will work AND they'll fold down to 33", so you can easily take w you in your luggage.

Ho usato lo scubatector 2-3 volte, e ho scoperto che dopo le 10 min si spegne e puoi devo aspettare 3-7 min sott’acqua per accederlo, e poi fra 2-3 min si spegne ancora. Ho cercato ritornarlo ma il venditore mi ha scritto che l’articolo non può essere rimasto…I SOLDI BUTTATI VIA!!!

If unit does not shut off, hit reset button in the charger port area.

Not 1 but 2 of the tector pros lasted 2 dives 15 to 20 ft and both had water in them the tail cap was fully seated but still ended up with water in it sadly. Display had water damage and both would beep and say fold coil. Seem good quality but sadly they both died the same save ur money and buy something else super disappointed
