Manual Resuscitator Adult Latex Free

Got this via USPS priority today--super fast shipping! It's in perfect shape, and full working order. It seems to be a quality item, just like the kind we used in EMT class training as a US Air Force medic last year. 100% latex free, and packaged well in a resealable plastic bag and individually sealed plastic bags for the mask, reservoir bag, and oxygen tube. Also includes (somewhat poorly translated--made in Taiwan) instruction sheet.

This is the exact model we used in my First Responder training this year, and I was glad to find it on Amazon at such a good price. Although I'm sure you should use a pediatric model on children, I was shown in my class that you can collapse the ends of the "football" and reduce the volume of air being pushed by about 3/4, making it a pediatric model if you are not equipped with one. It also comes with a mask with an oxygen hookup, a length of oxygen tubing and a clear plastic oxygen valve of some kind. I'm very excited to hopefully never use this on my patrols.

So forego the big screen TV until life saving preparation is secured.

My son has had sudden food allergy/intolerance's. We had one night that scared us to death. There was no warning, nothing that we noticed in the past that he has allergies, and it was a learning experience. This item is well made, it comes in a bag that you can hang on the back of a door, and all the pieces come with it. There are directions too. This item looks like it could be found in a hospital because it is that nice.

I got one for our first aid kit. They have to offer the consumer getting replacement filters though? After a use, you are to toss it. Replace the air filter, now reusable. Just clean the bag. SW

The idea of giving mouth-to-mouth to a sweaty, vomiting, unconscious, fully-grown man is very unappealing. Hopefully, this well-constructed device, in conjunction with continuing training from my local fire department, will obviate that need.

Much nicer then I had expected. I am an EMT and these are GREAT!!! When I first examined it I was blown away with the quality and the delicate attention to detail in the packaging and supplies included. Haven't used it yet, hope i never have to. But I have great piece of mind knowing its in my home!
