Great knife for hunters.
I have a drawer full of various folding and fixed blade knives, literally several dozen, but I find myself reaching for this knife for a great many butchering tasks. It has a very nicely sized medium-large blade that sharpens well and is thin enough to be slightly flexible. This makes it a good deboning/filet knife. I've used it for deer processing, debreasting wild turkey, and fileting fish with pleasing performance. It also makes a good food prep knife, so i also like it for camping/etc. It's not a good knife for your bushcraft survival camp or whatever- you'll break it "battoning kindling"- but it's far better than a "bushcraft knife" (and most "hunting knives") for the tasks I mentioned.5 Stars, especially given the affordable price.

Nice pocket knife and won't break the bank
This is very nice for the money. Can you get an Opinel for cheaper? Yes. Is an Opinel more durable? Yes. Does this work as a nice, cheap pocket knife? Absolutely. It holds a good edge. Opens easily, and the lock is solid. No wiggle at all. The blade is REALLY thin. Much thinner than my Opinel's, but I am not going to be prying anything, so. For cutting rope, and anything else, it seems to do well. Would I baton with this thing? HAHAHAHA.. A toothpick, maybe. But I think battoning with a pocket knife to be laughable at best. No. This is a good knife that weighs nothing to keep in the pocket. It is is sharp, and the lock is solid. If you use it for what it is intended for, you probably can't go wrong. Very nice and well made handle that is comfortable in the hand. Yup. Not bad at all.
