Fun Little Friction Folder
This little knife looks very nice, kind of like an Opinel. This knife is very light, and has a blade of mystery German stainless steel. I would recommend opening/closing this knife with two hands. The blade is thin and slicey, and at just over two inches long, it will help you cut your fruit, peel things, or skin a very small squirrel. There is no locking mechanism on this knife, but the friction between the blade and the wood handles does a decent job of keeping the blade in place. Remember that this design is similar to Opinel knives, in that if you get the knife wet, the wood will swell, and it will be harder to open and close. The blade edges on my knife were even, but the tip needs tuning up, and there is no lanyard hole. There is plenty of room on the handle to drill a lanyard hole if you really need one. Last, the blade is not centered, and rubs the inside of the wooden handle. This knife is worth buying for $7.

Nice Traditional Knife from Portugal
Handle is Beechwood, about 3" long x 9/16" diameter near the bolster swelling to 5/8" diameter at the end, smooth with some kind of finish.Stainless steel blade is 2 1/4" long x 9/16" wide x 1/16 thick. The blade is flat ground and polished smooth, not highly polished but very nicely done. The bevels followed the blade contours pretty well, a little "toothy", typical of most paring knives, it didn't slice paper very smooth but is useably sharp, most won't find the need to sharpen further. Opening and closing the blade was a little tight, not bad, and kind of good considering this is a friction folder with no blade lock, no side play of the blade. If blade action is too tight, it can be smoothed up with a little candle wax on a toothpick and then rubbed on the wood in the slot the blade tang is in. Pivot hole in the blade is slighly larger than the pivot pin/rivet, but not a real problem. Blade slot is about 1/32" off center but also not a problem for this type of knife. Blade is centered pretty well in slot. See photo comparing MAM size to Case/Rough Rider Peanut size knife, MAM fits comfortably in my pocket.I like this knife, price is a very good value. MAM also sells other knives, different sizes, different handle shapes and liner locking options.

Neat knife
OK, the five stars is based on the purpose and price of this knife. It is not a Benchmade or Strider, but does work as a tool to cut things. I'm sure it's 420 at most, but it sharpens up very nicely and the blade is only 1mm thick and full flat ground, so it slices like nobody's business. Goes through pizza boxes like butter. Good old-fashioned friction folder, so no backspring or lock. If it gets too loose, hammer on the rivets a bit. The handle is very well made and pretty wood. This is very Opinel-like without the locking collar. I like to get knives from various countries and this one surprised me.

Small knife with alot to offer.
Great little knife. Arrived sharp and the perfect size to put in your pocket. Blade is a bit thin and doesn't lock, and I'm not sure how well the knife will hold up over time, but so far I love it. Good for normal small tasks like opening boxes.

Decent little pocket knife
Decent small pocket knife with no lock. As a friction folder, it will most jobs for the average person- trimming strings, opening boxes and mail, etc. It's dirt cheap, so don't expect perfection. It is very light and easy to drop in the pocket until needed.

Like this knife
Like this knife; it's light and takes a decent edge. Only complaint is the blade is loose for a friction folder. Soaking it tightens it up but the wood seems to dry and shrink again after a bit.
