I just received the shoes, they look awesome, I was definitely not exited with the other designs that look like a street shoe for an 80 yr old, these look cool and feel great. I’ve only used them once, a two hour ride and immediately felt the difference. They stick to the pedals really well, they are rigid at the sole and you can feel the power on the pedals much better. The closed ankle cuff worried me that it would sofocante my feet but that was not the case, when the summer arrives I would be able to tell better.As others say they run a little small, it’s a snug fit so I went up half a size and they fit perfect. I wear a US 9 and ordered 9.5They are comfortable, good looking, competitive in price and seem made with good quality materials. Highly recommended. I can’t wait to ride again!

I had a pair of perfectly good Five Ten Freeriders that did the job, but I hated the skate shoe aesthetic. Had these in my cart for awhile and finally decided to buy them when the price fell to $120. They run slightly small compared to other Five Ten shoes, so best to go up half a size. They stick like glue to my flat pedals (DMR Vaults), just like the Freeriders, and they're suprisingly light, extremely comfortable and IMO much nicer looking than any other MTB shoe that's out there. Wear them at Mountain Creek, Thunder, Killington and Snowshoe and they offer solid protection, good ventilation and perform as expected. Can't speak to durability yet, but they're well made and I'll update this review if I have any issues. If you're on the fence debating, I highly recommend getting them.UPDATE (3/15/23): Still amazed how light they are! Glad I bought them, there's barely any wear and tear other than a couple scuff marks on the toe. The combination of weight, grip, protection and durability make these my favorite MTB shoes by far!

True to size, great grip and comfortable. Wish I could make the laces a little more snug as the shoe seems a little rigid.

I bought these for the mid-style they are. They are a bit narrow but stretched. I wore them for about 12 hours prior to biking in them. My first ride was a combo of riding and walking uphill. These shoes were comfortable, and stable, and felt just fine while hiking uphill. They were grippy to my pedals as I went downhill. Glad I bought these!

Amazing shoe at the $90 price point I got it at. Fantastic combination of protection and grip coming from a RC Powerline that is super protective but not as breathable or flexible. This Five Ten is a perfect combination of both. That upper sock sleeve is not only comfortable but it also keeps dirt and grime from entering the shoe during a ride. As an added bonus I found that the grip and protection that this shoe provides make it the perfect Onewheel shoe also. Sticks to my board like glue for that locked in feeling. Couldn't be happier.

Perfect shoes for narrow feet, light and comfortable.

I want to love these shoes, but they're uncomfortable, and I gave up on them after a few months. The material is thin, the laces are a bit harsh, and the gaiter helps with mud and debris, but makes the shoes harder to put on. I also notice I'm rolling my ankles while wearing these shoes, which isn't a problem I've ever had with a shoe before. Flexing the toe box also puts substantial strain on the top material around the top rim, so I'd be surprised if these shoes last very long. I strongly prefer my 10-year-old Five Ten Freeriders, even though they have holes in the soles.

Love them, they fit my foot to a tee, they offer amazing support and inspire confidence blasting down the trails on my flat pedals. Highly recommend.

El diseño del zapato, sus cualidades y caracterísiticas son extraordinarias. Sale de lo convencional del clásico zapato de mtb tipo skate que creo ya es anticuado. Es difícil entender porqué pocas marcas han optado por esta aproximación para el calzado de ciclismo de montaña. La parte del tobillo con neopreno bloquea perfectamente la entrada de tierra y piedras, son ligeros, versátiles, la suela es firme al pedalear pero suave al caminar, se adhiere a los tachones de los pedales como magia, ademas están muy bien ventilados y se ve que durarán años. Eso sí, les hace falta un forma de guardar o atar las agujetas para evitar que se atoren o desaten.En cuanto al tamaño varias reseñas tienen razón en que vienen un poco chicos de lo convencional, los pedí 1/2 número mas grandes y aun así se sienten un poco justos en el arco interior del mediopié, esto solo es perceptible al estar de pie más no al pedalear, pienso que la sensación puede disminuir al usarlos como pasa con muchos otros tipos de calzado. A pesar de esos dos detalles creo que valen... cada... maldito... centavo.

Perfect fit and styling. I ordered my usual shoe size and did not size up. Comfortable when riding my flat pedal road bike even at high speeds, the rubber is very grippy. High quality and well though off design, it looks cool too. Highly recommended 👌
