I got in trouble...
So I got in trouble for listening to sleep token too loudly in my room (by my wife) and she suggested I get some ear buds. After several days of reading very conflicting "top 5" "top 10 budget ear buds" etc I finally settled on these and ordered them. BTW...EVERYONE IN THE WORLD likes different options. But I decided I wanted sound quality and didn't need all the fancy stuff. These have no active sound canceling, now I don't use them in loud environments typically but even with no audio going through them it is like having ear plugs in. With sound I am dead to the world. So for me that feature is unnecessary. Phone calls sound fine (not that I get much in the word of calls to test it, but I asked my wife to call me and we could understand each other just fine).I love music and this is why I chose these. You can hear EVERYTHING with them. Every sound...bass to treble is clear and clean. I have heard dimensions that I have never heard before. They have about a 7 hour battery life as advertised and can fully charge from the case in about 2 hours. At first I thought the bass was less than I wanted but then I thought about how my home system literally shakes the house, I realized that is maybe something you wouldn't want in your ear, so I started thinking more about the quality of the bass. It is clear, punchy, and causes no ear discomfort. Then I realized that this is the first time I have ever heard/appreciated the bass lines...I could hear every single note....so....yeah, the bass is great. As far as connectivity...download the app. The equalizer is great but literally to connect, I opened the app and removed the earbuds from the case.....done. The app found them in about 2 seconds and they were ready to use.So in conclusion, these aren't fancy as far as features, but they are small, light, and comfortable. Most importantly is if you are interested in listening to music rather than phone calls, and are getting tired of getting in trouble for listening to your music too loudly...these have a VERY clear, high quality sound from bass to treble. Also from testing them, i estimate that they have a 40-50 foot range before they start breaking up...very nice. I have never heard air pods or android pods, but I think i have a pretty good idea what sounds good in music and in my opinion, these are fantastic and they cost under $100...end of storyBTW now a year and a half later and these are still the best ear buds/headphones i have ever owned. I was truly devastated when I read that jabra was exiting the ear bud industry...this is a major loss to audiophiles like me π₯Ί

EXCELLENT!!!! (edited to add something interesting at the end)
Summary - The best earbuds I have, far exceeding the many many Plantronics earbuds that I've used over the years. As long as Jabra continues with this quality, they have completely replaced Plantronics for me.To start: I am using this as my telephone bluetooth for phone calls. That is it's primary function for me. So it has to sound good to me, and sound good to the person on the other end. When seated properly, it is excellent. When not seated properly, you'll have people telling you that you are muffled. We are talking about it just getting jostled in your ear and turning a 1/4 of an inch or less. But that's OK. If they say that, just turn it back in, and all is well.Next: I use a single earbud 100% of the time. I had gotten another Jabra model at my sister's suggestion, and I hated it - why? You had to use both earbuds. This is not like that. So essentially, I got 2 earbuds for the price of 1. I charge them in the case overnight, and then for the first 7 hours of the day, I use one, then the next 7 hours I use the other (or whenever the one starts doing it's little chime to tell me that it's almost out of battery). IMPORTANT about this fact. In order to pair, you have to have both earbuds. I figured that out when I temporarily lost my right earbud. You have to be able to press both at the same time. Don't lose either earbud if you need to pair to new electronics alot!Last: The range is excellent. I found that Plantronics used to have good range, but over subsequent models, the range reduced significantly. Jabra's range is better than any I've ever had, I think. In between calls, I will listen to podcasts or audiobooks while doing chores. I often go downstairs to the opposite side of the house and out the back door, and I do not disconnect, I can still hear the podcast loud and clear. My house isn't a mansion, but it is a decent size, so I'm not saying the range is the next room! I'm saying the range is several rooms, and 1 story different. Very nice.As I mentioned earlier, they charge in a case, some people seem to not like that. I don't mind it at all, in fact it's nice to have a little place that I know my earbuds go as soon as I'm done with them.Nothing else to say - if you're on the fence, go for it!Edited to add: The other day, I actually forgot I was wearing the left earbud and took a shower. I didn't wash my hair, so it didn't get completely drenched, but I did wash my face and I'm sure it got splashed several times. I was really concerned that I had just destroyed it. Nope! Still working perfectly, and the sound remained perfect as well (both inbound and outbound). I wouldn't suggest doing it on purpose, but it's good to know that it may survive a splash of water.
