Saved our citrus from leaf miners!
We have about 50 young citrus trees on our property, planted earlier this year. In the late spring practically all new growth was horribly mangled by leaf miners. One application of this stuff knocked them back to almost nothing! You can even see on some of the leaves where the miner died after only a row of eating, saving the leaf. It remains to be seen how long the protection lasts, but it was worth the cost just to see a flush of green without any curled, yellowed, eaten leaves.

Great for gardens
We planted a fairly large garden this year and used this insect control quite often to keep aphids and other bugs at bay. The scent was not overpowering.

For the lazy/busy gardener
I have previously used really strong solutions of imidacloprid for my front yard bushes to take care of beetles and other pests. It was really easy to use since this is a systematic pesticide. That is, you just mix with water and pour it on the roots. The plants takes in the imidacloprid and stores it in its tissue so that you only need to apply the pesticide once a year and no further treatment is needed. However, the concentration of imidacloprid for my frontyard treatment is far too strong to be used on the edible crops and plants that I grow in my backyard. That is where this pesticide comes in. It only contains 0.235% Imidacloprid making it suitable for edible crops. Like the stronger concentration pesticides, it is systematic, so you only apply it once a year. The low concentration means that the fruits are safe to eat, and since I am only spraying once a year, you end up saving a lot more compared to other pesticides that require a spray every week or two. Since the chemical only affects insects that feed on the plants (usually harmful pests), this is safe for most pollinators like bees.I have actually had this product in mind for the last year. Amazon was offering this product at $13.54 after the coupon discount (The normal MSRP is $26.99), so there was no reason not to buy it.This pesticide is designed for fruits and vegetables. But there are a few things to note. The Pre-harvest Interval, that is, the time needed after each application before you can harvest the crops vary from plant to plant. So you have to check the label prior to use. While it can be used on the listed vegetables, in many cases, the Pre-harvest Interval is 21 days. So you cannot harvest the vegetables for 21 days after application. This might be problematic when it comes to short harvest crops. E.g. Some vegetables may only take 3 or 4 weeks from seed to harvest, so that rules out the use of this pesticide. The pesticide is applying by mixing in water and then pouring it around the roots, so there is no need to spray anything on the plants. It's mostly practical for fruits and less useful for leafy vegetables. If you are a busy gardener and have no time to spray your fruit trees every other week, I would highly recommend this product.

BioAdvanced - Easy insect control product
I purchased one container of this product a while back. I have a large property in the California high desert and was having some problems with bugs eating my plants and trees in the summertime. I tried those spray on insecticides for plants but had mixed results and the effectiveness of those products did not seem to last very long. This product was used for smaller sized Mulberry trees and small pomegranate plants. Those insects seem to prefer the younger plants I have for their daily meals. The insect control concentrate has worked fine. I have not had any problems at all with the bugs returning after application. It sure is much easier than continually spraying the plant or tree over a long period of time with some other product like I did before. If the bugs come back again this summer I will need to order another container for new applications. I give this product a thumbs up for a purchase choice.
