I live this brand my sister has been using it for years. I bought her and my bestie a set and they loved it.I bought one for myself and its brilliant. I use the muscle lotion on my legs and back during my period. However I used it after a shower and my skin exploded it was sooo hot so fast, I jumped out of bed and took my clothes off my back was bright red I went and got a cold shower and it went away. On the back of the bottle it says don't use after a shower, that was a lesson hard learned 😭😫The product is amazing and I haven't had any adverse reaction to it bar after the shower. Also only use a tiny amount of it!

I read the reviews which said use very sparingly.Product turned up a few days later and I decided to try it after my shower before going to bed.I'd forgotten all about the warnings in the reviews by this stage. Looked at the instructions for use on the packaging and placed a small blob on each arm to rub in so that the scent could ease me into slumber.I now lie here with arms burning like fire. Worse than any sunburn sensation I have ever experienced. And this is after washing the product off!I'm living a night of regrets and can only hope that either it eases or I get used to it soon.I will try again, but lesson learned. Amazon reviews should be printed on the packaging!

This duo would make a perfect gift for someone who hasn't yet sampled Sanctuary Spa. The Warming Muscle rub balm is effective and comes with a great fragrance. (nothing like the usual smelling horse liniment!) The pillow spray is definitely worth a try if you struggle to drop off to sleep - works for me every time.

First of all, I would like to say that the spray and lotion smell incredible, the packaging is amazing and I was very, very excited to try this product to relax after a long day at work and give myself a little treat. I read the description of the 'gentle warming' action with glee and was really looking forward to going to bed, all warm and snugly and falling into a peaceful sleep...what I got however was my skin feeling like I had fallen into a pile of stinging nettles, poured petrol over the wound then proceeded to set myself on fire. It was not a 'gentle warming action' but rather a fiery inferno I feared I would never come back from! 20 minutes of sobbing on the shower in freezing water trying to cleanse my battered soul later I have mostly recovered with some minor redness and mental scars that I will have to carry with me forever. If you have mildly sensitive skin, I advise you learn from my mistake, skip on this particular product and enjoy the innocence of youth and joy I used to know. Hateful product!
