Perfect!
Purchased for my Son who is a Manager at Summer Festivals. He's often working in the rain and other awful UK weather and is on his feet all day to early hours. He had a pair previously and only purchased another pair when he had worn out the others but if not working 16 hour days for several months, I'd say these boots would last a whole lot longer with not so heavy use. He said these boots are very comfortable and waterproof and he was very confident to order a further pair. Given the hours he works and the weather he works in, I'd say they are fantastic value. Thank you!

Excellent boots.
Kept dry in these in extreme mud and water.

hard wearing and good value. Recommended
Lighweight and soles flexible so care over sharp stones, but I have walked several miles every day for two years before these have worn too thin to use. Have reordered exactly the same again. Recommended.

Leaked!
Sadly they both started leaking badly after only 4 days (worn 1 hour per day) and have now been returned.Very light and comfortable though

Comfortable but not waterproof for long!
When I first received these boots back in March 2021, I gave them five stars and wrote that they were: "Well-packaged and delivered quickly, comfortable and rugged, whilst being much lighter than the worn-out pair that they replaced."Having just had to buy a replacement pair barely eight months later, I need to significantly revise that earlier review. The boots have indeed been very comfortable and their uppers are certainly rugged but the soles have been a major disappointment. A few weeks ago, I noticed that, when out with my dog in the rainy autumn weather, my socks were getting damp. This was especially the case when walking on the wet grass in the local park. A quick look at the soles of the boots [see photo] showed that the rubber heels had worn clean through.I concede that these are certainly not expensive boots but I would have expected that, even at their budget price, they would have remained waterproof for more than six months, especially as I only walk between three and five miles a day. I therefore award them five stars for comfort but only one star for water resistance. I would further suggest that my overall rating of three stars is probably on the generous side.Notwithstanding the above, I have purchased another identical pair but only because, with winter soon upon us, I needed to replace the worn-out pair in a hurry. However, I am already starting the search for a much more durable pair.

Bargain
I must say, I thought geese were woman's boots - I ordered a size 5 - not sure how many men wear a size 5?! Saying that, they're really comfortable & fit perfectly. I'm yet to find out if they're waterproof yet as I've managed to avoid the rain when walking the dog so far.

Not a bad shoe for the price but can't handle the hard yards.
Not a bad shoe for the price, however, they don't last and can't handle the mileage. I walk about 5km every day and the sole has just about had it after 3-4 months. Got to say tho they have remained waterproof throughout. They are comfortable and they are a good fit for the size. This was my second pair and they both faired about the same.A great casual walking shoe (weekends etc) but not up to the hard yards. I probably won't buy another pair only cos I want something that lasts a bit longer and can handle the mileage without breaking the bank.

Buy a good set of insoles for it!
Cheap walking boots that are sturdy and give good grip even on muddy surfaces. I tend to get sore heels with them on longer walks. I replaced the thin insole they came with and seems to have helped things. Good boot for the price, but the insoles are thin, cheap and provide limited shock absorbing support. Only advice is replace the insoles if you plan to use for long walks. But I guess you get what you pay for.
