Men's Endorphin Speed

A great shoe!
I've been running for 28 years, averaging over 2000 miles per year. I typically go through 4 pairs per year, and have run in Saucony, Asics, New Balance, Hoka and most recently the Brooks Ghost. I've only been in the Endorphin Speed a few weeks, but they are the "fastest" shoes I've ever run in. They're light and incredibly responsive, and were comfortable right out of the box. Next marathon is in four weeks - I may update again after that, but for now, they are fantastic shoes.

Didnβt live up to the hype
Surprised by the reviews on these. I have done loads of research on the best runners and everyone gave raving reviews. Iβm 180 lbs and run about 40 miles a week from 5-10 mile variations... the actual tread and bounce of the shoe will hold up probably longer than most shoes, but less than 2 months in the like breathing holes on the right shoe are ripping and the shoes sole comes out so easy and creates an air pocket that makes them extremely annoying. I only wear these for running, so the actual flaws of the shoe are disappointing. Had high hopes for these

2020 Shoe of the Year!!
This shoe has an amazing, glove like fit. Very light and responsive. The first step you take you simply glide and run with much less effort than your daily trainer. By far the best shoe for speed days. Iβve set 1mi, 5k, 10k and half marathon PRs in this shoe this year. Itβs literally the best shoe for the money. My daily trainers include Hoka Rincon and Saucony Ride 13 and Iβve also just bought Nike Vaporfly for race days, just and FYI if you have similar taste because you wonβt be disappointed with the Speed.

Light, springy and well cushioned
I really like this shoe. I've tried a few new shoes since returning to running in the last 2 years after a 30 year hiatus and none have quite lived up to the hype. I feel like these do. I'm big and slow and like to run distance so I wasn't sure this shoe would be for me. It didn't make me run any faster but made me feel faster if that makes any sense? It's light and springy with good cushioning that holds up to my 6'4" 240 lb frame. I've had it on a 50K run and a 10 and 15 miler so far with my feet and legs feeling better than my tried and true Saucony Triumphs. I'm hard on shoes and usually get around 400 miles out of a pair of Triumphs and hope these hold up as well. I already purchased another pair. YMMV

Too tight in the toes area
Pros: The shoes does impart more speed for the same effort and has springy/bouncy effect too. It also felt to absorb some shock.Cons: The shoes are uncomfortably tight around the toes . Since it does not allow enough room for my toes to expand as much as they should, it is impacting my running form, which I had already been struggling with. I measure 4.25 inches at the toes (broadest width), berefoot, foot placed on the ground. I would not recommend it for a beginner and those with broad foot. To me anyone doing less than 15 miles/week is a beginner or a casual runner. I was doing just fine with a regular Nike jogging shoes or the bare foot Merrell.

My go-to shoes for tempo and long runs
My first pair of Saucony shoes were a pair that my dad bought me back in 1980. I loved them then, and now that I've come back to them I still a fan. Here's some points --1) These shoes fit as expected. I typically wear 10.5 and that's what I ordered. The fit is perfect, comfortable, and I feel no slipping.2) These shoes help my pacing stay more consistent. I have other shoes that I love, but I've noticed my pacing does vary more. With these shoes my pacing always seems to stay consistent throughout my run.3) When I have intervals, or faster paced runs planned these are the shoes I wear.4) I've worn these on runs up to 11 miles and have no ankle, knee, or hip issues. I'm doing a half marathon in October and these will be the shoes I wear.I don't know what else to say. I'm a fan.

The best running shoes that I have ever used! Highly recommended.
The endorphin speed is by far the best running shoes I have ever used.It is pricey, but in my initial try, I could easily do 10 miles without any soreness in my ankles, knees and hips.I am sure itβs going to be excellent on longer runs.Recommend for half marathons, as well as marathons and longer.Saucony seems to have really nailed the design for long distance shoes.I liked it so much that I purchased multiple pairs for my rotation.Highly recommended!I will definitely try the endorphin pro too.

good for an old jogger
I am an old slow jogger with the aim of improving and using them for a 5k. The nylon plate technology does work even for one as untalented as myself, my speed per k improving by about 5% without noticing any extra effort. That said I believe they would benefit most people who are younger and faster , but that said they are very comfortable at slower speeds and the shape of the soles does help your foot roll through naturally and improve your running form. Given the cost I won t be using them as a daily trainer, but may consider a cheaper Saucony to replace my current daily shoes since I do like the general sole shape and comfort of the Saucony s better together with the roll through running style

9 PRs from the first run!
9 PRs from the first run!(HM,20k,15k,10k,5k,1k,1m,2m,10m),I used Saucony Triumph Iso 5 for training up to buying these but as soon as I started running in those I realised they are a game changer, running fast in those comes natural and they are comfortable and lightweight, I do HR training and I dropped 20s/km just by wearing these (same route, same HR),they do live up to the hype.

Be very Careful
The shoes themselves are excellent, no complaints. However, please be aware that this seller is located in Italy and when I purchased the shoes Amazon advised that there would be no postage costs. I don't know if it is due to Brexit but I have had to pay an additional Β£49 in customs costs/duty to get the shoes.I compained to amazon but to date nothing has been resolved, so just be careful ordering if the seller is not in the United Kingdom.

A joy to ride
In terms of comfort, these shoes provide just the right amount of softness and cushioning, speaking as a road runner. They have quite a light weight. They have great energy return and give real temptation to push forward. This reflected well in my 10 km runs. Not sure about the long term durability though. They don't look to be heavy duty shoes.
