Exactly what I needed
Wanted to turn the kids mini Christmas tree into a nightlight. Works great.

Excellent product.
Really a nice updated product.....I've had one for 20 years and this was a nice updated version. It's clear, so it works well anywhere.

BIGGER THAN EXPECTED
FRIED AFTER 6 MONTHS This thing is huge! LOL! I laughed when I opened it because I didnt realize it would be this big. I just wanted a hand-held size dimmer. I think it's a foot-size dimmer for the floor. Anyway, I like it! Seems quality and works efficiently. Does what it says so Im happy with it.

Failed after 10 weeks of normal use
Looks just fine. And worked just fine. Until it didn't, taking a recent bulb with it despite being plugged into a surge protector. I've half dozen other far less fancy looking dimmers, some up to ten-fifteen years old, and going strong. For $19+ I expected better quality.

Fails to turn light out
The dimmer does not fully turn the light off. The light remains on, though slightly. It continues to emit a soft glow much like a tea light candle.

Functioned only as an extension cord.
It didn't dim at all; essentially just an extension cord. Returned for refund.
