Bought two -- one works fine, one doesn't work fine
The features are good, the price is right, the quality control is terrible. I bought two -- one works just fine. The second one, however, doesn't work properly. The flashlight works, the signal flashing works, the red emergency flasher works, but when I push the button for the alarm, all that happens is that I get a clicking sound which will not turn off with the push-button. I need to remove the end cap so there's no contact with the batteries. When I replace the batteries the clicking has stopped and the light parts all work again but still the alarm simply goes click click click click endlessly.The one of these which works fine is great, the alarm goes on and off with the push-button and if both of these worked I would have given this item 5 stars. Of course the problem may not be the fault of the seller, other than that the let Amazon do the packing and shipping. The shipping container these came in was a flimsy shipping envelope which was ripped and the particular item which doesn't work properly had been pushed out of its already flimsy display packaging. Oh well -- at least one of them works and I bought these especially so my wife could have one with her when she makes a long drive in another week.EDIT -- actually I've returned both. And the replacement one that got shipped to me. The cutter will not slice through a webbed strap! So anybody who is depending on this tool to actually help them out of a life-and-death situation will sadly find that it will not help them. As a flashing beacon with an alarm, it's not bad, but even if you get one where the lights and the alarm actually work, don't think you'll be able to rely on it to get out of a situation where your seat-belt won't release. I haven't tried to break a car window with it, so I don't even know if that aspect of this tool will work.Buy something else!

Very Disappointed
Unfortunately, had to return 3 of these items because they don't work. Others, which I can't return because given as gifts, have issues (flashlight/blinking light) in cold weather. Very disappointed in product as well as embarrassed that I gave this shoddy product as a gift to my friends.

Exactly as described
A lot of cool features on this car safety tool. Everything in the description works as described. This is on the cheaper side, which you feel but we tested everything and it works and seems to be study enough to last in the crappy situation that you would need this in. We got orange which is nice and bright for easy visibility and finding. If I ever need something like this again I will be getting this one and recommending to others when they need one.

Seems ok.
Easy to use. Battery life not great. The true test will be the seatbelt cutter which I have not had any need to use thank goodness. But that will be the true test. Thinking about returning it and getting a more expensive device. This is a serious purchase for serious situation.

Great guy gift
Bought these for Christmas gifts. Both guys loved them. One loved the screen the most. I'm glad they both have them in their cars. I would suggest this as a great guy gift for a great price.

Love this Emergency/Safety Car Tool!!!
I bought 7 of these auto tools and gave them out to my family, along with batteries! Everyone loved their gift! We keep ours in the driver door pocket so it is handy. LOVE THIS TOOL!!!!

Economical safety item.
Seems very handy to use, balanced right to use to shatter window. Only drawback, no instructions on how to install batteries. Took a minute to figure out.

Good inexpensive tool
Good features in this emergency tool. The added flashlight and safety beacon are great to have. Not sure what the siren is for, but whatever.
