Works Fine
The chain thickness measured 6.1-6.3 mm. I think the spec for this 10 speed chain is 6.0 mm. This thickness had no effect on my derailleur to easily shift gears. In fact it only took a few very minor adjustments to smoothly run thru all the gears. The pin removal tool almost maxed out while removing the pins on this new chain. It was way too fragile and it was very apparent to me that this tool was incapable of pin removal on my old chain. In fact it took quite a few good hammer blows using a punch to remove the old pins. Easy to see why folks are destroying the removal tool.

Great product and seller
The chain an tools came quickly. Everything seems to bed or good quality chain and tools. I took 5 links from the chain to adjust for the size I needed 20 speed long throw rear derailleur. Link remover worked perfect. Master links, several included were perfect and included locking tool was east and straight forward too. Rode the bike for 20 miles after installation. It was smooth and gears changed easily. Highly recommend. Durability not yet known.

No complaints for the price at all.
Not bad, chain fits a bit tight in the tool but not unusable or anything. Chain is nice, I didn't need to shorten it for my application. I like the inclusion of master links a plier to make a more complete set even though I wont be using them now. Easy to install, well lubricated chain works great. Overall a nice value for the price.

YIKES
The media could not be loaded. Sometimes you wonder why there isn’t such a thing as half a star when it comes to reviews. In this case, a simple set of tools to help remove a bike chain, has garnered half a star.I am fixing an old bike and there was a rusted chain on it with no quick link. I’ve never worked on bikes before so when I took the tools out I was a little confused on how they worked. I watched a tutorial and it was simple enough. But what I was watching on the video wasn’t matching what was happening in the field. Off the bat the gripped handle fell off. Not a good start. In order for the tool to work there’s a vice like device that drives a pin out of the bike link. The brackets on the tool that hold the device bent the first time I tried. It was comical how poorly these materials were. I could have managed except for the fact the screw to push the pin out didn’t even line up and wasn’t long enough to even work. Here’s the real kicker though. As I was turning hoping it would somehow in gods name actually work THE HANDLE BROKE OFF. I just laughed. This is seriously a piece of junk. I’d use another word but I don’t think they’d publish this review so use your imagination. Literally junk. I ended up taking a pair of plyers to it and finally snapped the rusty chain off. In order to install a new chain you need those piece of junk tools that are useless right now so I have to take my bike to a store tomorrow.Horrible purchase. Shout out to Amazon for the return and our local Kohls where I can drop it off. Serious yikes here. Don’t order this piece of junk trust me

So far so good on my MTB - time will tell how long they last
I used this for my 9 speed mountain bike. Rear is a 9 speed cassette with a 3 speed crank. I was able to use this and I measured rivet to rivet and I had about 5 links left over. The chain breaker or rivit punch it comes with works pretty well. The master link tool worked well to click things back together. The chain came in a package and there is a thin layer of lube on it already too. It comes with at least 4-5 pairs of master links in case you mess up the first time or need to shorten the chain. For the money - good deal, the tools alone are worth a few bucks.

Good chain - Bad tool
Chain is nice. Tool is useless. Tool broke on first attempt. Had to go buy a different one to get the job done. Nice to have the extra master links included. No complaints on chain - only the cheap tool.

Worked PERFECTLY.
I purchased the Single, 6/7/8/etc speed kit in order to replace a chain on an ebike that doesn't have a multi-speed chain but it does have a chain tensioner that's really only there to assist with maintenance on the back wheel. Due to circumstances, it decided it wanted to work as a derailleur instead so it's constantly pushing my chain onto the outer section of the motor hubI really only bought this kit for the chain, the chainbreaker tool, and the master links. I only used those parts of the kit. I did not use the other bits that help spacing the chain or holding it in place while working on it.And those parts of the kit worked like an absolute charm! I was able to quickly (Less than 10 minutes) delink my current chain and pull it off, remove my chain tensioner (using my own hex wrench not part of this kit) put the new chain on, measure it by eye, shorten it a little using the chain breaker so it wouldn't have excessive slack, put the master links in place and finish this project that has been bothering me for months! The tool some people show in pictures and video look different from the one I received as mine is all black and there isn't a slide-over handle but rather it screws into the bottom of the tool. It's much sturdier than I expected given some of the poor reviews. The pin may look misaligned as you crank the handle, this is perfectly normal and it is why you need to make sure you have the chain where it needs to be! Universal rule: Outer section (there are two /_\ on the tool.) is what you want to use for removing links or putting them back together. The inner section that's closest to the handle is what you use for loosening the chain if you accidentally make a link too tight so it no longer swivels freely. Unless you are loosening a chain, DO NOT use the inner section closest to the handle. A neat little function of this tool is the knob on the outside of it. The last tool I used did not have one of these and it made it harder to line up the pin while keeping it stable (turning the crank without that extra piece clamping it could cause the chain to shift in the tool) and that old, unrelated tool ended up ruining my chain by bending the outer sections of the chain inwards, hence my reason for getting a chain with the new tool kit. Once you get the chain where you need it to be, turn that knob and it will clamp the chain in place and it makes things so much easier.I am not 100% bicycle maintenance savvy, but this kit saved me a great deal of hassle and money. If I need to replace a chain in the future, or I just want a backup tool and spare chain, I'd definitely buy this one again!Small edit: The handle on the tool has a little storage space inside it. There was a replacement pin for the tool inside.
