Medium firmness, nice size and lightweight.The only issue is the chemical- like smell. It was very strong when it arrived, but it seems to be subsiding as time goes on.

I purchased this packing foam to cushion the bottom of my backpack to avoid damage to my camera and lens that I carry. The backpacks made for carrying cameras are too big and very conspicuous. Since I could not find a nondescript backpack with padding, I decided to make one and this packing foam was ideal. I could cut a piece to fit the backpack bottom using a small saw and it worked perfectly.

It wasn't as easy as to cut it and remove the inside of it. It was a tedious task. It looked more simple. I was able to ship my precious items and they got to the destination ok, so that's a plus, but not as easy as it seems to cut to shape. Maybe add instructions.

I needed some flexible foam to help keep coins in a display case - this foam works perfectly!

I wanted these for foam fillings in my Mission and Surprise boxes from Kamen Rider Geats to more securely hold the items just like in the show. You could also use this for small cases and such.
